Click Image To Enlarge 狂気のレアトラック集がプレスCDで登場！ 近年リリースされたImmersion Boxにも収録されなかったアウトテイク、リハーサル、さらには延々見過ごされて来た珍しいシングルミックス等もピックアップ。ありきたりな「ポンペイ」からのテイクなどは一切除外しての約80分、狂気レアリティーズの決定盤！ ★Tracks 1-4 Rough Mix (Mono) まずは定番ラフミックス。アウトテイク素材の少ないフロイドにしては珍しくコレクターズCDの最初期1989年頃には既に登場していた制作段階のラフミックス。ファンには一番お馴染みのアウトテイク音源のひとつで、今回はその最新リマスター。位相、ピッチの修正と散見された音切れが可能な限り修正されています。 「Time」はお馴染みギターソロのないミックス。イントロのロートタム部分がリリース版よりも30秒ほど長く、CDタイム1:32-2:04付近がリリース版には含まれていないフレーズのようです。3:50付近で見られた音切れも可能な限り補正。 「Brain Damage」は中盤からの収録。全編にリリース版でオミットされたと思われるギターソロがバックに終始入ります。「Eclipse」も同様にギターソロが終始入ります。リリース版に聞ける笑い声・しゃべりなどのSEと一部のキーボード類も聞こえません。 「Us And Them」はサックスソロ途中までの収録。サックスがリリース版とは一部で全く異なり、リリース版にないフレーズも飛び出します。歌い出し”Us…”にリリース版のようなエコー処理が掛かっていないドライなサウンド。ピアノも所々でリリース版にない演奏が確認できる。 ★Tracks 5-9 Rough Mix (Stereo) トラック5-9は上記トラック1-4とは別のRoughステレオミックス。近年流通した音源で、曲間に一部カットが入るものの、サウンドはリアルステレオで極上。これだけの超重要音源にもかかわらず、殆どプレス化もされてこなかったもの。 「Money」はイントロのレジスター・ループからして異なり、レジスター音はリリース版と異なり終始聞こえます。またリリース版では聞こえないシェイカーもミックスされています。ボーカルやサックスなどはエフェクトの掛かっていないドライな質感。エンディングはリリース版と大幅に異なり、演奏がラフに終了するところまで収録しており30秒以上長く本来の演奏が聞けます。 「Us And Them」は「Money」とは被らずにキーボードのイントロからカットインでスタート。出だしはImmersion Boxのバージョンと似ており、30秒ほどのキーボードの後、ピアノとサックスのフレーズで本編に入りますが、Immersion Boxには入ってなかったドラムが聞こえます。リリース版左chのアルペジオ風のギターは極小さくセンター付近にミックスされています。また、ここでも全体にエコー等の処理が加わっていない段階のドライでナチュラルな質感です。サックスはリリース版にない演奏もダブって聞こえたりします。 「Any Colour You Like」は全体のミックスバランスが異なります。リリース版では殆ど聞こえないエフェクトの掛かったギターが大きくミックスされていたりします。 「Brain ...
