A necromancer series that reissues the valuable titles of handmade labels for collectors, which were distributed only in a small part, from the official master who officially took over. Introducing the “Ordinal Madness” label specializing in black music such as blues and soul. Rare titles are re-appearing at affordable prices with reissue emblems and new back jackets.
Based on the backing band of Otis Rush, this live performance changes the head from Otis Rush to Buddy Guy, and then to Otis Rush and Buddy Guy. The guitar is properly panned on the stereo sound board, so you can fully enjoy who is playing what phrase. First of all, after the band warms up, Otis Rush appears in the blues classic style that appeared in Atama. You can listen to the original performance of the famous song “All Your Love” that you bought to spread the name of Eric Clapton. A must-listen to Rush’s masterpiece “Gambler’s Blues” spelled out in Rush + Buddy.

近年マスター直結、或いはロウ・ジェネレーションのテープからデジタル化が進んでいる“マイク・ミラード・テープ”。オーディエンス録音の卓越した技術でファンにはお馴染みのテーパー、マイク・ミラード氏により録音されたテープです。同レーベルからもこの新デジタル化のマイク・ミラード・テープをマスターにした音源が複数リリースされておりますが、よく見ると“ブラッシュド・マイク・ミラード・テープ”と“レジェンダリー・マイク・ミラード・テープ”の二種類があることにお気付きでしょうか。マイク・ミラード・テープも全てが完璧な音質なわけではなく、中にはかなり手を加えて改良の余地があるものもあり、大幅に手を加えて改良されたものが“ブラッシュド”シリーズ。元々完璧に近く音質改良の余地があまり無く、曲間等の軽い編集など最低限にとどめてあるものが“レジェンダリー”シリーズとなります。
今回は“レジェンダリー”シリーズよりムーディー・ブルース登場です。アバッキオのスタンドじゃあありません。もちろんプログレッシヴ・ロックの老舗バンドの方です。デビュー当初のメンバー編成からギターがジャズティン・ヘイワード、ベースはジョン・ロッジに入れ替わり、徐々にプログレッシヴ・ロック・バンドとして再生、そして成熟の70年代です。来日も果たしている1974年の貴重なライヴ音源。『童夢』『セヴンス・ソジャーン』を経て集大成となるライヴです。やや割れがちに聞こえる部分もありミラード音源としてはベストとは言えないものの、一般的オーディエンス音源とは一線を画す高音質音源です。
