Headless, the highest jazz collector’s label, has reissued the precious titles of handmade labels for collectors, which were distributed only in a small part, from the official master who took over. Hawk is here. A rare title is re-appearing at an affordable price with a reissue emblem and a newly refurbished back jacket.
It is a sound board live sound source of the duo by Chick Corea and Gary Burton who have teamed up many times. Burton’s vibe is a perfect match for a tic piano with a sense of speed. The Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby” and Chick’s Spanish masterpiece “La Faista” are full of listening places. The arrangement of “Eleanor Rigby” is excellent, and this alone is a sound source to listen to.
