Focusing on genres such as jazz and blues, which had few collector’s items at the time, the valuable titles of the BMM label, which was extremely popular with fans, are now available in the regular low-priced reissue series Necromancer.
Remastered from the stereo audience master with outstanding resolution of musical instruments, live at Village Vanguard, New York on July 4, 1978. The whole volume is of stable quality, and Johnny Winter’s guitar and Otis Rush’s guitar, which appear as guests, are also divided into left and right, and it is a good item that you can fully enjoy each play. The rush synonymous with “All Your Love”, which became famous for the Bruce Breakers when he was enrolled in Clapton, and his signature song “Gambler’s Blues”, and the groove integrated with the band are overwhelming. Although it is an audience recording, it is a title that is easy to reach even as an introduction to audience recording because of its high sound quality.

1978年7月4日のニューヨーク、ヴィレッジ・ヴァンガードでのライヴを、楽器の解像度抜群のステレオ・オーディエンス・マスターからリマスター収録。全編安定したクオリティーで、しかもゲストとして登場するジョニー・ウィンターのギターとオーティス・ラッシュのギターもきっちり左右に分かれ、それぞれのプレイを存分に堪能出来る好アイテムです。クラプトン在籍時のブルースブレイカーズで一躍有名となった“オール・ユア・ラヴ”や自身の看板曲“ギャンブラーズ・ブルース”でのラッシュ代名詞スクィーズ・ギター、バンドと一体となったグルーヴは圧巻です。オーディエンス録音ですが高音質の為、オーディエンス録音入門用としても手を出しやすいタイトルです。
