From a boy who was 17 years old Davy Jones to David Bowie. A decision board that brought together all the early recordings of the early days when the charisma of the ancient times was teenagers was born. The first bullet of the new label “DBAS” to archive the precious sound source of Bowie is appearing.
The first memorable thing is a collection of sound sources that will be the first step for Bowie. Speaking of “THE EARLY DAYS” in the Bowie collection, it is generally general in front of “SPACE ODDITY” and is mainly around the 1st album “DAVID BOWIE” released in 1967 by Deram. However, the theme of this work is more early. The first band formed by Davy boy: From the phantom source of THE KONRADS, until 1966 singles just changed to “DAVID BOWIE”. It is a compilation covering every single board, acetate board, interview etc before contracting with Deram label. I supervised the global authority of Bowie research who has worked on numerous masterpieces at our shop. Various early sound source compiler existed before, but there was not thorough thing so far in terms of quality and collection as well. It is exactly one piece that will be the highest peak ever.
Such a work is divided into four major sections. Let’s introduce each separately.

【Extreme Initial Single (12 Songs)】
First of all, it is an extremely early single from 1964 to 1966 which was slightly 17 years old. Organizing ……

● 1964: DAVIE JONES AND THE KING BEES Name
“Liza Jane”
● 1965: THE MANISH BOYS name
“I Pity The Fool”
● 1965: DAVY JONES (with THE LOWER THIRD) Name
“You’ve Got A Habit Of Leaving” “Can not Help Thinking About Me”
● 1966: DAVID BOWIE (with THE BUZZ) name
“Do Anything You Say” “I Dig Everything”

…… It is more than six sheets. All 12 songs, each containing a coupling song. Mostly based on Official’s early compilation CD “EARLY ON 1964-66”, the official board had replaced several songs with different take / mix. In this work, it is unified with the original single version, and it is recorded with that best master.
Also, Jimmy Page of young people also participated in THE MANISH BOYS ‘s single. I’m playing lead and guitar at “I Pity The Fool”, and rhythm guitar at “Take My Tip”.

[Another version of the extreme early single (5 songs)] The next section is a collection of different versions of the above single. “EARLY ON 1964-66” relationship is three songs, the normal version of the debut song “Liza Jane” whose pitch was out of order and vocals include “Take My Tip” and “I Pity The Fool” which are different take. “You’ve Got A Habit Of Leaving” was a version that was included in the compilation “Sheen Talmie” compilation “MAKING TIME” at that time, guitar and take are different from regular single. The final “Do Anything You Say” is another mix version.
Both are not raised, official CD · rarer official CD is the source. You can enjoy it with the highest quality not being bothered by needle punches and others.

【Demo / Acetate Panel Take (7 Songs)】
From here it is a take that was excavated from a maniac demonstration / acetate board. I will organize here as well ……

● 1965: Solo (3 songs)
“That’s Where My Heart Is” “I Want My Baby Back” “Bars of the County Jail”
● 1965: DAVY JONES (with THE LOWER THIRD) (4 songs)
“I’ll Follow You” “Glad I’ve Got Nobody” “Baby That’s A Promise” “Silly Boy Blue”

Except for the last two songs “Baby That’s A Promise” and “Silly Boy Blue”, recorded by Shell Talmy’s producer, careful selection from the CD version of “EARLY ON 1964-66” and even better sound cassette version. That “Baby That’s A Promise” “Silly Boy Blue” is selected from the best take of the boot leg board.

【Interview & Bonus (3 tracks)】
The last section is a historical record sound source. Interview sounds conducted in 1964 and 1966 and the phantom source “THE Never Dreamed” of THE KONRADS in 1963 which is the oldest Bowie. THE KONRADS was the first band for Bowie, formed in early 1962 by Dave Crook (drum) and Neville Wills (guitar). Then George Underwood (vocals) joined Davey who was George ‘s best friend and tenor sax was also busted.
After that, they repeatedly changed their members and recorded a rehearsal in 1963. The whole picture is not clear yet, but it was used for BBC news program only for 12 seconds. In this work, that 12 seconds is recorded as a bonus track.

It is a hidden treasure of 20 tracks and 27 tracks. The beat system and the blues roundup tune are perfectly fragrant in the mid 60 ‘s, and its singing voice is exuding a honest longing to a teenager who is a youthful person. This is the origin of the daughter charisma, David Bowie. It is interesting because it is different from the latter figure, it makes me happy because young voice already has the glow of rough stone. Early on 1964-66 “on both the sound side and the volume side It is a decision board which will also become a complete version. Please, enjoy with the permanent preservation press CD fully.

DAVIE JONES AND THE KING BEES名義
『Liza Jane』
●1965年:THE MANISH BOYS名義
『I Pity The Fool』
DAVY JONES (with THE LOWER THIRD)名義
『You’ve Got A Habit Of Leaving』『Can’t Help Thinking About Me』
DAVID BOWIE (with THE BUZZ)名義
『Do Anything You Say』『I Dig Everything』

「I Pity The Fool」でリード・ギター、「Take My Tip」ではリズム・ギターを弾いています。

『EARLY ON 1964-66』関係は3曲で、ピッチが狂っていたデビュー曲「Liza Jane」の正常バージョンやヴォーカルが別テイクの「Take My Tip」「I Pity The Fool」を収録しています。

「That’s Where My Heart Is」「I Want My Baby Back」「Bars of the County Jail」
DAVY JONES (with THE LOWER THIRD)(4曲)
「I’ll Follow You」「Glad I’ve Got Nobody」「Baby That’s A Promise」「Silly Boy Blue」

最後の2曲「Baby That’s A Promise」「Silly Boy Blue」以外はシェル・タルミーのプロデュースによる録音で、『EARLY ON 1964-66』のCD版や更に音の良いカセット版から厳選収録。
