Three years have passed since the reunion, and the 2007 TEARS FOR FEARS with activities. Introducing a sound board album where you can enjoy them with close-up sound.
The sound board recording of “June 22, 2007 Paris performance” is included in this work. Reunited in 2004, they toured every year, but 2007 was a break. It was a mini US tour with only 4 performances and a single performance in Paris. Also, speaking of “Paris after reunion”, the official live work “SECRET WORLD LIVE IN PARIS” comes to mind, but of course this work is a separate performance. The official work is a show in June 2005, and this work is a live album just two years later.
This work recorded at such a show is a broadcast sound source with plenty of taste on the sound board. Even if you say “sound board” in one word, there are many different personalities, but this work is said to be “live radio style”. As a matter of fact, the details are unknown and it is hard to say whether it is really a live broadcast (it is certain that it is a broadcast sound source because a French DJ is also inserted between songs), but the feeling of the sound seems to be so. For a direct connection to the table, the entire ensemble is a well-organized mix, and loud cheers are inserted in a well-balanced manner. On the other hand, the performance is vivid for an official work, and the slight limiter feeling is really raw.
Anyway, what is drawn on such a broadcast sound board is a similar and non-similar show that should be called the sequel to “SECRET WORLD LIVE IN PARIS”. A repertoire that cannot be heard in the official works is also shown, so let’s organize it while comparing.

そんな本作に収められているのは「2007年６月22日パリ公演」のサウンドボード録音です。2004年に再結成した彼らは毎年ツアーを行っていましたが、2007年は一段落。わずか４公演のミニUSツアーと１回こっきりのパリ公演だけでした。また、「再結成後のパリ」と言えば、公式ライヴ作品『SECRET WORLD LIVE IN PARIS』が浮かびますが、もちろん本作は別公演。オフィシャル作は2005年６月のショウであり、本作はそのちょうど２年後のライヴアルバムなのです。
そんなショウで記録された本作はサウンドボードの旨みたっぷりの放送音源。ひと口に「サウンドボード」と言っても個性は千差万別なわけですが、本作は言わば「ラジオの生放送風」と言ったところ。実のところ、詳細が不明で本当に生放送なのかは断言しがたい（曲間でフランス語DJも挿入されているので放送音源なのは確実です）のですが、音の感じはそうとしか思えない。卓の直結系にしてはアンサンブル全体が整ったミックスですし、盛大な歓声もバランス良く挿入されている。その一方でオフィシャル作品にしては演奏が生々しく、わずかなリミッター感が実に生っぽいのです。
ともあれ、そんな放送サウンドボードで描かれるのは『SECRET WORLD LIVE IN PARIS』の続篇とも言うべき、似て非なるショウ。オフィシャル作品では聴けないレパートリーも披露されていますので、比較しながら整理してみましょう。
