本作ではその「THE WILD HEART」発表当時のライヴから、’83年９月５日のテキサス州ダラス”リユニオン・アリーナ”公演を、新たに発掘された高音質オーディエンス・マス ターで収録しています。「妖精のようなスタイル」とファンから高い人気を得ていた彼女が、ミュージシャンとしてピークに達していた当時のステージを、優良 な実況録音でじっくりと楽しめます。

本録音はFLEETWOOD MACの名作「ROUMOURS」からの「Gold Dust Woman」でスタート（残念ながらオープニングが欠落し、曲途中よりフェイドインでの幕開けです）。クリアネスは抜群で、確かな見通しとナチュラルな音 の広がりはさすがのマスター・クオリティ。演奏の聴き易さは卓越していて、続くソロ曲「Outside The Rain」以降も放送音源を聴いているような感覚でライヴを楽しめます。
選曲は1stソロ「BELLA DONNA」と新作「THE WILD HEART」の楽曲を中心にしつつも、要所でFLEETWOOD MACナンバーを効果的にインサート。やはり「ROUMOURS」からセレクトされた「Dreams」や、「TUSK」収録の「Sara」はファンの喝采 を呼んでいます。その両曲に挟まれた彼女の定番曲「I Need To Know」では軽やかで煌びやかなロックン・ロールを楽しませるなど、ライヴの流れもメリハリに富んでいます。
シングルでヒットした「If Anyone Falls」と「Stand Back」は聴き所のひとつ。場内も素晴らしい盛り上がりで、当時のスティーヴィーが持っていた人気の高さを実感させます。ポップでキャッチーな曲だけで なく、叙情的な「Beauty And The Beast」も、彼女の持ち味を楽しませます。
ディスク２では「How Still My Love」や「Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around」と、1stソロからの名曲が連発。ラストは誰もが聴きたい「Rhiannon」が、12分ものロング・バージョンで演奏され、ライヴを感動 と興奮の中でクロージングします。

名曲とヒットナンバーが満載の本ライヴは、文句なしの聴き応えと楽しさでいっぱい。本録音はスティーヴィーのファンはもとより、後追いでFLEETWOOD MACを知ったと言う若いファンも、揃って満足させるでしょう。多くの方にぜひお楽しみいただきたい２枚組です。
