Charisma realized in 1985: PiL’s return to Japan led by John Lydon. Introducing the original recording set of the prestigious “Kinny” that conveys the scene.
Two performances are included in this work. This is a 3-disc set that compiles the excellent audience recordings of the “January 11 + 12, 1985: Nakano Sunplaza” performance. At our shop, we have been discovering the original cassette of the prestigious “Kinney” for some time. We have delivered a group of masterpieces that can be said to be synonymous with the history of Japanese sound sources with the highest peak updated sound. This time, the excavation was PiL’s second performance in Japan. Not only this work, but also the masterpiece press CD “SHIBUYA 1985 (Wardour-440)” of the first day performance will be released at the same time, so let’s organize it according to the schedule.

Above, all 6 performances. The first three performances were in Tokyo, and this week the “Kinny” recordings of those three performances were released all at once. However, the length varies. The first day of Nakano Sunplaza, “January 11th recording” is about 72 minutes, so it’s DISC 1, and the next “January 12th recording” is about 87 minutes, so it’s a total of 3 discs. is.
It was the sound of this work, but I thought, “Isn’t it a good idea to release a CDR?” Both performances have the best sound that lives up to the prestigious “Kinny” name! Actually, it is not defeated by the simultaneous release “SHIBUYA 1985”. On the contrary, this work may be superior in the sharp attack feeling and direct feeling of the beat. Of course, the beauty peculiar to Kinney goes up in “SHIBUYA 1985”, but that is just a difference in individuality. In terms of audio, this work is also a permanent preservation press-class sound that is completely half as “SHIBUYA 1985”.
The two performances that are drawn with such a superb sound are also intense. Although the basic set is the same, it is slightly different, so let’s organize the two days together.

… And it looks like this. As a matter of fact, “January 12th recording (DISC 2-3)” was incompletely recorded at the end of the encore, “Anarchy In The U.K.” However, it is still much longer than the official video “ANARCHY MOVIE ’85” on the same day, and three songs have been added.
Beyond the second day, the first day “January 11 (DISC 1)” is a must-listen. The recording time is shorter than the second day and it is one piece, but the information currently known is the full recording of the day. And above all, I’m doing “Anarchy in the U.K.” (!). It’s hard to tell how advanced John Lydon is, but this song is deadly. It was a must-listen to listen to Kinney’s super clear sound because I could not hear it on the official board “LIVE IN TOKYO” for the first time in Japan and the press masterpiece “SHIBUYA 1985 (Wardour-440)” which will be a symbol board for returning to Japan It’s a take.

The first day (DISC 1) where you can experience the full show that also showed “Anarchy in the U.K.” and the second day (DISC 2-3) which is also an expanded version of the official video. A set of 3 world premiere masters who can fully enjoy the 2 performances of Nakano Sunplaza with Kinney Magic. Probably because the official video was released at that time, it was not released, but it is a 3-disc set that has one of the highest sound quality even in the prestigious “Kinny”. 1985年に実現したカリスマ：ジョン・ライドン率いるPiLの再来日。その現場を伝える名門“キニー”のオリジナル録音セットが登場です。
そんな本作に収められているのは２公演。「1985年１月11日＋12日：中野サンプラザ」公演の絶品オーディエンス録音をコンパイルした３枚組です。当店では、かねてより名門“キニー”のオリジナル・カセットを発掘。日本の音源史と同義と言っても良い名作群を最高峰更新サウンドでお届けしてきました。今回は発掘されたのは、PiL二度目の来日公演。本作だけでなく、初日公演の傑作プレスCD『SHIBUYA 1985（Wardour-440）』も同時リリースとなりますので、併せて日程で整理しておきましょう。

以上、全６公演。前半３回分は東京公演となっており、今週はその３公演の“キニー”録音が一挙公開となったわけです。ただし、その長さはまちまち。中野サンプラザ初日となる「１月11日録音」は約72分なのでDISC 1に、翌「１月12日録音」は約87分なので２枚組のDISC 2-3に配した合計３枚組です。
そんな本作のサウンドですが「CDRリリースって事はイマイチ？」と思いきや、さにあらず。２公演とも名門“キニー”の名に恥じない極上サウンドなのです！　いや実際、同時リリースの『SHIBUYA 1985』にも負けていない。それどころか、ビートの鋭いアタック感やダイレクト感では本作の方が上回っているかも知れません。もちろん、キニー特有の美感は『SHIBUYA 1985』に軍配が上がるものの、それもあくまで個性の差にすぎない。オーディオ的に言えば、本作も『SHIBUYA 1985』と完全に五分な永久保存プレス級サウンドなのです。
そんな極上サウンドで描かれるのは、これまた強烈な２公演。基本セットは共通しつつ、微妙に異なってもいますので、２日分をまとめて整理してみましょう。

……と、このようになっています。実のところ「１月12日録音（DISC 2-3）」はアンコール最後の最後「Anarchy In The U.K.」が録音漏れとなっており、惜しいところで不完全収録。しかし、それでも同日の公式映像『ANARCHY MOVIE ’85』よりも遙かに長大で３曲も増量されています。
そんな２日目を超えて必聴なのが初日「１月11日（DISC 1）」。収録時間こそ２日目より短く１枚物ですが、現在判明している情報では当日のフル収録。そして何より、「Anarchy in the U.K.」をやっている（！）。ジョン・ライドンがどのくらい進んで演っているかは判断が付きかねますが、やはりこの曲は必殺。初来日の公式盤『LIVE IN TOKYO』や再来日の象徴盤となるであろうプレス名盤『SHIBUYA 1985（Wardour-440）』でも聴けなかっただけに、キニーの超クリア・サウンドで聴ける必聴テイクです。

「Anarchy in the U.K.」も披露したフルショウを体験できる初日（DISC 1）と、公式映像の拡張版でもある２日目（DISC 2-3）。中野サンプラザの２公演をキニー・マジックでたっぷりと楽しめる世界初公開マスター３枚組です。恐らく当時は公式映像がリリースされたために非公開となったのでしょうが、名門“キニー”でも指折りの高音質となる３枚組です。象徴プレス盤『SHIBUYA 1985』と併せ、東京３DAYSを思う存分、お楽しみください！
