The best live album in rock history “FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE!”

Peter Frampton in 1976 was sweeping. Introducing a new masterpiece of Mike Millard, the sequel to it.

This is Peter Frampton in 1975/1976. “FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE!” Was produced from 3 performances of the 1975 tour and released at the beginning of the year. The Inglewood performance of this work is about a year later. It was “North America # 7” where the production of “I’M IN YOU” started.

そんなショウで記録された本作は、もちろん超・極上。力強い芯も、隅々まで瑞々しい鳴りも、繊細なディテールも実に見事で美しい。実のところ、ミラード基準のスウィート・スポットからすると少し後ろの席（フロア17列目・セクションAの内側通路）だったようですが、それでも距離を感じさせないところはさすが絶対名手。席の違いを感じるのは、むしろ黄色い嬌声の量くらいでしょうか。それも極太な演奏音を邪魔するほどではありませんし、むしろ人気絶頂のムードをリアルに伝えてくれる美点になっているほどです。
そんなグロリアス・サウンドで描かれるのは『FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE!』の本生100％体験でありつつ、少々趣きも変化してきたフルショウ。ここで歴史的大名盤と比較しながらセットを整理してみましょう。
