Headless, the highest jazz collector’s label, has reissued the precious titles of handmade labels for collectors, which were distributed only in a small part, from the official master who took over. Hawk is here. Rare titles are re-appearing at an affordable price with a reissue emblem and a newly refurbished back jacket.
As the title suggests, it’s a tribute concert by Miles Davis. The leader is Marcus Miller, who was found by Miles himself and then made a leap forward to become a big game. And what a wonderful band with Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter’s senior mogul from Miles School. The sound quality is also perfect with the high-quality sound board recording that is welcomed by beginners.
