Introducing a must-listen 3-disc set of 1975’s amazing soundboard takes. First of all, on February 2nd, New Jersey recorded the Pasic Capital Theater on Disc 1 with a vivid ultra-high quality sound board recording. It is recorded with the highest sound quality with outstanding freshness, and I am happy to hear the live performance of this time with such excellent line recording. The intro of Colorado is a fade-in recording, but it is the highest level recording that can also be used as an official live album. David Bromberg is a guest performer. Discs 2 & 3 include the early show and late show of the San Jose performance on September 22, 1975, also recorded on a high-quality sound board for each disc. Both live performances are recorded with a thick and powerful sound, and the sound is full of direct feeling that you can hear Linda’s breathing, and you can clearly hear the performance of the back team. Only early show plays Love Is a Rose. The late show has not received the opening four songs and was recorded from Willin’, but Jackson Browne will appear in the last Take It Easy, and you can listen to the best competition. Andrew Gold participates in the guitar in all three performances. Prisoner In Disguise This is the best set to fully enjoy the live performance of Linda Ronstadt in 1975 with high-quality line recording.

1975年の素晴らしいサウンドボード・テイクを収録したファン必聴の3枚組が登場。まずディスク１には2月2日、ニュージャージーはパサイックのキャピタル・シアターを生々しい超高音質サウンドボード録音で収録。鮮度抜群の最高音質で収録されており、この時期のライブをここまで優れたライン録音で聴けるのは嬉しい限りです。Coloradoのイントロがフェイドイン収録ですが、オフィシャル・ライブ盤としても通用する最高レベルの録音です。デビッド・ブロムバーグがゲスト出演しています。ディスク２＆３には1975年9月22日のサン・ホセ公演のアーリー・ショウとレイト・ショウを各ディスクごとにこちらも高音質サウンドボード録音で収録。両ライブとも太く力強いサウンドで収録されており、リンダの息づかいが聴こえるようなダイレクト感いっぱいのサウンドで、バック陣の演奏もクリアーに聞き取ることができます。アーリー・ショウのみLove Is a Roseを演奏。レイトショウはオープニング4曲が未収で、Willin’からの収録ですが、ラストのTake It Easyではジャクソン・ブラウンが登場し、最高の競演を聴くことができます。３公演ともギターはアンドリュー・ゴールドが参加しています。Prisoner In Disguiseリリース期の1975年のリンダ・ロンシュタットのライブを高音質ライン録音でたっぷりと楽しめる最高のセットです。

ニール・ヤングの「Love Is A Rose」から始まるアルバム「Prisoner In Disguise」をリリースした1975年の3つのショウを全て高音質ライン録音から収録した3枚組。ディスク１は2月2日のパサイック公演で「Special Moment In Passaic」というブートレッグも収録されている音源だ。ディスク２と３はとは７ヵ月以上も離れているためか、セットリストにはそれらとの違いが目立ち、中でも「Prisoner In Disguise」から後にホイットニー・ヒューストンで超有名曲となる「I Will Always Love You」、デビュー・アルバム「Hand Sown…Home Grown」から「Break My Mind」、「Heart Like A Wheel」から「Keep Me From Blowing Away」と珍しい楽曲が取り上げられていることに注目だろう。「Keep Me From Blowing Away」には、デヴィッド・プロムバーグがゲストとして迎えている。ディスク２は9月22日のサンホゼにおけるアーリーショウで、恐らくフルセット収録。ディスク３は同日のレイト・ショウで、おそらく最初の4曲が欠落しているのだろうが、それを補うように最後はジャクソン・ブラウンを迎えた「Take It Easy」でしめている。大々的にフィドルがフィーチャーされているので、デヴィッド・フィンドレーも参加していることは間違いない。最初の２コーラスはジャクソン・ブラウンがリード・ボーカルを取っているが、３コーラス目をリンダ・ロンシュタットがとっていて、実はこの曲で彼女がリードボーカル取るのは極めて珍しい。
