Fleetwood Mac’s first visit to Japan in 1977 should be named alongside the first visits of groups such as Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd in that it was realized at the height of the big name “rumors”. At the same time, it was very epoch-making that the performance in Japan was a “serious” challenge not only to the people themselves but also to their staff.
The greatest achievement was the epoch-making setting of hanging the PA speaker on the roof of the Budokan. At the Budokan, which was not yet compatible with the sound of rock concerts, it made an unprecedented live sound.
Due to this epoch-making acoustic setting, the audience recording that captured the Budokan for the first time in Japan was lined up with high-quality sound on average, but it is also a benefit of hanging the speaker from the ceiling. not.
Many high-quality McDonald’s sound sources have been released so far, but this completely debuted Audience Master also has excellent sound quality. The provider is Dave Mason, who will be released at the same time, and the taper that was in the limelight with Billy Joel’s masterpiece “TOKYO 1978”. He also made a recording at the Budokan.

Regarding Budokan, it is new to remember that the CD-R & DVD-R set of “BUDOKAN 1977 FINAL NIGHT”, which is the best audience in the area approaching the sound board from the UXBRIDGE label, was released, but thanks to the previous sound, this new sound source The sound quality of is also really wonderful.
In terms of the power of the sound board-like sound image, “BUDOKAN 1977 FINAL NIGHT” is in the lead, but this sound image is also quite on, and the quality is likely to be cool with a press CD. And unlike “BUDOKAN 1977-“, it is a big advantage that there are no foreign customers talking nearby.
Only from the ending of “You Make Loving Fun”, there was a cut by changing the cassette at the beginning of “I’m So Afraid”, but there was a cut using “BUDOKAN 1977 ~”.

The 1977 tour, which was the climax of Mac, has recently been unearthed in succession with the finest sound sources such as “SIN CITY 77: JON WIZARDO MASTER CASSETTES” in “LA FORUM 1977 2ND NIGHT: MIKE MILLARD ORIGINAL MASTER TAPES”. Although the sound source this time is monaural recording, it is not defeated by them.
Rather, listening to this Budokan reminds us that Mack, who had been playing high-quality performances easily through the tour, had finally reached the stage of completion in a foreign land that he arrived at at the end of the 1977 tour. .. After all, the sound quality is very good, so the solid performance feels really real.
A new superb audience created by a legendary night that resonated with the 1977 Budokan, which was packed with high-quality performances. It is guaranteed that even those who have “BUDOKAN 1977 FINAL NIGHT” can definitely enjoy it, and this is the first sound source that can be confidently recommended to a wide range of people from beginners to enthusiasts. Please enjoy it carefully.
