AEROSMITH in 1975, when the famous board “TOYS IN THE ATTIC” won the first platinum album and opened the door to the heyday. The longest and highest peak board of the symbolic sound board that conveys such an era is born. Appeared in a press CD that permanently preserves the supreme sound polished by detailed mastering of “GRAF ZEPPELIN”.
“August 29, 1975 New York performance” is engraved on this work. This is a stereo soundboard recording when I participated in the “Schaeffer Music Festival” held in Central Park. At that time, not only the album, but also the singles “Sweet Emotion” and “Walk This Way” became hits, and the activity suddenly became active. It was entering the golden age of more than 100 performances in a year. First of all, let’s check the progress on the schedule.
・ March 18-31: US #1 (6 performances)
《“TOYS IN THE ATTIC” released on April 8》
・ April 8-August 3: US #2 (52 performances)
・ August 23-September 1: North America (6 performances) ← Coco
・September 12-October 31: US #3 (25 performances)
・November 12-December 30: US #4 (26 performances)
This is AEROSMITH in 1975. The tour is almost limited to the United States, and only one performance in Toronto, Canada. Roughly, it consists of two parts, “US # 2 (52 performances)” and “US # 3-4 (51 performances)”, and at the beginning of each, a warm-up mini leg “US # 1 (6 performances)” “North America (6 performances)” was arranged. The Central Park performance of this work is the fifth performance of such “North America”.
This stage was also an act of the famous “Schaeffer Music Festival”. Unlike most modern rock festivals, this event is held for three months from mid-June to mid-September. There are not every day live performances, but in 1975 it was a huge music festival with 58 groups appearing in 28 days. AEROSMITH first participated as an undercard for Rory Gallagher in 1974, and in 1975, he appeared with Ted Nugent.
Such a stage has been broadcast on the radio and has been a classic since ancient times. It has reigned as a symbol of “TOYS IN THE ATTIC Tour”. Recently, the broadcast version of “KBFH” has made noise on the net, but this work is not such a broadcast version. It is the highest peak board that exceeds “KBFH” broadcasting in terms of the number of songs and sound. First, length. This is best seen in organizing the set.
Yamiyo no Heavy Rock (5 songs)
・Big Ten Inch Record (★) / Sweet Emotion / Walk This Way / No More No More / Toys in the Attic
● Others (7 songs)
・Birth of the Beast: Walkin’ The Dog(★)/Somebody/Dream On/Write Me A Letter
·fly! Aerosmith: S.O.S. (Too Bad) / Same Old Song and Dance / Train Kept A Rollin’
* Note: “★” marks are songs that cannot be heard on the KBFH broadcast version.
… and it looks like this. It has two more songs than the radio broadcast, and it is said that this is all the songs on the day. And the sound is also the highest peak. The master, which has a reputation as the best, has been refined with detailed mastering of “GRAF ZEPPELIN”.
The easiest to understand is the difference from the most famous “KBFH” broadcast version, but this is completely different. The mix is different from the FM broadcast, and the broadcast version is sharply processed and covered with loud cheers. At the time, it was probably intended to be vivid, but by sophisticated modern standards, it was simply noisy. On the other hand, this work of the complete version master is focused on the live performance itself. However, the performance sound itself is beautifully polished, and the sound is glossy and delicate enough to feel the vibration of the instrument itself. If you compare it in an easy-to-understand way, it feels like “the cheers were removed from the official live work” or “a studio recording of a live performance”. Of course, it is actually a stage live in front of a large crowd, but it is a super-superb soundboard that is so beautiful that you want to express it.
AEROSMITH has made a breakthrough and embarked on the path to becoming the biggest monster in the rock world. While maintaining the freshness unique to the early days, it is the highest peak update board of the soundboard album that will pour the “TOYS IN THE ATTIC Tour”, which has all the classic songs of later years, directly into the brain. It is exactly AEROSMITH’s most important live album and a cultural heritage in rock history. Enjoy it anytime, forever with a press CD that never loses its brilliance.

REMASTERED BY GRAF ZEPPELIN
(remastered memo)
★ The original sound source had a wonderful texture and balance, and it was the best sound without any complaints.
There is no excessive audience noise that tends to be seen on live records, and the performance balance is well balanced.

* Stereo sound board recording of “August 29, 1975 Shafer Music Festival Performance”. Radio broadcasting is also a famous classic, but this work is a complete version that includes “Walkin ‘The Dog” and “Big Ten Inch Record” that have not been broadcast. It is a mix that focuses on the performance itself rather than the broadcast version, and the sound that “GRAF ZEPPELIN” polished the best master is the beauty of the official studio work level. While maintaining the freshness of the early days, it is the highest peak update board of the soundboard album that will pour the “TOYS IN THE ATTIC Tour”, which has all the standard songs of later years, directly into the brain.
★★ It is a perfect sound board without complaint.
