Robin Trower in 2019, who was active even after reaching 70 years of age. The latest video that allows you to experience the best tour that may be the last is now available.
This work was filmed “April 27, 2019 in Houston”. It is the super superb audience shot. You may think, “Is it the latest even though it is four years old?”, but of course there is a reason for that. In order to explain the area, let’s first take a bird’s-eye view of the activities of the past five years.

This is Robin Trower after 2019. It’s the same as other artists until the tour is canceled due to the new corona pandemic in 2020, but the problem is after that. Although he has released an album work, he does not perform live activities, and the “COMING CLOSER TO THE DAY Tour” in 2019 remains the last. And the Houston performance of this work is in the middle. It was the 14th concert out of 28 performances.

これが2019年以降のロビン・トロワー。2020年に新型コロナ・パンデミックでツアーが中止になるまでは他のアーティストと同じですが、問題はその後。アルバム作品は発表しているものの、ライヴ活動は行わず、2019年の“COMING CLOSER TO THE DAY Tour”が最後のままなのです。そして、本作のヒューストン公演はその中盤。全28公演中の14公演目にあたるコンサートでした。
また本作が「最新」となるもう１つの理由は、公開されたばかりの映像であるから。このショウのフル映像は数年前から知られていましたが、本作はまったくの別映像。しかも、それが恐ろしいほどの超・極上なのです。思いっきり引いた開演シーンからするとそこそこ距離があるようなのですが、そこからグイグイッとズームで迫った後は完全に距離感ゼロ／遮蔽物ゼロ。それこそ最前列から……いやいや、これはもう同じステージ上から撮影しているとしか思えない超ド密着アングルになる。右側に画面キャプチャーも掲載しておりますが、これがオーディエンス・ショットと信じられるでしょうか？　実際、引きアングルの最初の５秒がなかったら「最前列ショット」か「関係者ショット」としてご紹介していたことでしょう。
