Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, who have been very popular for their live performances since the duo’s restart in 2022, which was announced last year. The latest live video of such two people is now on sale with great popularity as a perfect quality professional shot video of the famous British event “GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL 2022”, which has been realized for the first time in a long time.
Three weeks later, the duo performed at the annual “JAZZOPEN” festival in Stuttgart. As the name suggests, it’s a jazz summer event, but there were other jazz-oriented artists such as Van Morrison and Sting.
Thanks to the fact that the stage here was also broadcast, the latest professional shot video with excellent image quality appeared. The fact that a new live video was broadcasted less than a month after Glastonbury also shows the current level of attention on the stage of the two.
“That’s not all.” The atmosphere of the live is completely different from Glastonbury, which was an enthusiastic rock festival. Naturally speaking, it’s a jazz event. If that happens, the audience layer that rushes to the large venue will be completely different, and the impression that a large number of people who listen carefully to the performance gathered here.
What’s wonderful is that the audience seats are reflected in such an atmosphere. This seems to be a European event where music lovers gather, but there are many audiences who sing together with other repertoires than ZEP classic “Rock And Roll”.
Therefore, it is even moving to see the audience humming along with Paige Plant’s “Please Read The Letter” that follows the same song.
In this situation, the duo seems to have changed from the fun-filled Glastonbury and challenged the stage to listen carefully to their songs and performances, and that state of affairs is also clearly captured.
On top of that, the duo had a longer time than Glastonbury because they were the winners of the event. As a result, the repertoire shown on the stage was three more songs than at that time.
Some of them are covers involving the Everly Brothers, and “Leave My Woman Alone” appears in this volume. In addition, they also covered their “Stick With Me Baby” in the encore. In these performances, it is also a highlight that guitarist JD McPherson is showing off a wonderful play everywhere.
And the live ended with Lucinda Williams’ cover “Can’t Let Go” from the duo’s first album. Of course, “Rock And Roll”, which I mentioned earlier, also explodes, which makes me want to call it a “Boogie With Stu” style arrangement (laughs).
Above all, the atmosphere of the live is completely different from Glastonbury, so it’s hard to believe that this was held within a few weeks. In other words, the “static” “JAZZOPEN” against the “moving” Glastonbury. Please compare the difference with the highest image quality by all means!
