“Wings at the Speed ​​of Sound” (English: Wings at the Speed ​​of Sound) is a Wings album released in 1976, during a one-year world tour from September 1975 to October 1976. It was produced. Wings had a strong image of Paul McCartney’s back band, but in this work, in order to emphasize the individuality of the band, Denny Laine’s “Notes without you” and “Time to Hide” are included in the album. Laine, “Wino Junko” by Jimmy McCartney, “Must Do Something” by Joe English, and “Cook of the House” by Linda McCartney are the lead vocalists. On the other hand, McCartney’s vocal songs are 6 songs including the single songs “Silly Love Songs” and “Let’Em In” which recorded a big hit. ◉アルバム解説
『スピード・オブ・サウンド』（英語: Wings at the Speed of Sound）は、1976年に発表されたウイングスのアルバムで1975年9月〜1976年10月の約1年間に及ぶワールド・ツアーの合間に制作された。ポール・マッカートニーのバック・バンド的なイメージが強かったウイングスであったが、本作ではバンドとしての個性を強調する為、アルバム収録曲のうち「君のいないノート」「やすらぎの時」をデニー・レイン、「ワイノ・ジュンコ」をジミー・マッカロク、「マスト・ドゥ・サムシング」をジョー・イングリッシュ、「クック・オブ・ザ・ハウス」をリンダ・マッカートニーがそれぞれリード・ボーカルを担当している。一方、マッカートニーのヴォーカル曲は、大ヒットを記録したシングル曲「心のラヴ・ソング」や「幸せのノック」を含む6曲となっている。イギリスでは、2位止まりだったが、アメリカでは、全米ツアー中だった事で計7週間第1位に輝いている。ビートルズ解散後、ポール・マッカートニーが最も1位を獲得したアルバムとなった。1976年ビルボード年間チャート3位。
