The 1979 UK tour is a 4-disc set that includes the performance on November 28th, the first day, from two sources, from the Manchester continuous performance. Although the existence of the sound source itself for Discs 1 and 2 was known until now, this work will be released as a press edition for the first time. Discs 3 and 4 contain recently unearthed different source sounds from the same day.
In other words, this work is a title that records the same Manchester performance on November 28th with two different sound sources.

Initially, the sound sources recorded on discs 3 and 4 were released with the trumpet that they were from the concert on the second day, the 29th, whose existence had not been known until now. However, when listening to the actual sound, it turned out that the concert was held on the 28th, the first day, not the second day. This was a disappointing result for enthusiasts.
However, even though I have been able to listen to the concert itself, with such a difference in sound quality, it can be said that this is a completely different experience. It is a new excavated sound source of the 1979 tour, and it can be said that it is a rare feat that the Manchester performance, which has not received attention until now, will suddenly be in the spotlight due to its good sound quality. A solid press with beautiful picture disc specifications for permanent preservation.

1979年UKツアーはマンチェスター連続公演より、初日11月28日の公演を2つのソースで収録した4枚組である。ディスク1と2はこれまで音源の存在自体は知られていたが、本作で初めてプレス盤としてリリースされる事になる。ディスク3と4は、最近発掘された同日の別ソース音源を収録している。
つまり本作は、同じ11月28日のマンチェスター公演を、二種類の異なる音源でそれぞれ収録したタイトルという事になる。

当初、ディスク3と4に収録の音源は、これまで存在が知られていなかった二日目29日のコンサートであるという触れ込みで公開されたものであった。しかし実際の音を聴くと二日目ではなく初日28日のコンサートである事が判明。マニアを失望させる結果となった。
しかし、コンサート自体はこれまでも聴けたとはいえ、ここまで音質差があれば、これはもう全く別物といってもよい。1979年ツアーの新たな発掘音源であり、これまで注目されていなかったマンチェスター公演が、音質の良さで一躍脚光を浴びる事になるのは、稀にみる快挙と言ってよい。美しいピクチャーディスク仕様の永久保存がっちりプレス盤。
