One of the signs of Paul’s enthusiasm for the release of the new album “EGYPT STATION” which became a big hit, it will be a series of secret gigs made in the summer. After the release of the album, the schedule of the fresh up-tour was also decided, and there was also a feeling that as a pole, I wanted to warm up with a gig before the start. Among a series of gigs, the secret gig at the Abbey Road Studio in July which was held early is now being distributed as “UNDER THE STAIRCASE”. It was translated into gifts last week, but the video was delivered in volumes exceeding two hours, which captured the entire gig, while the audio was less than an hour.
However, the picture is not released in our country, and the pattern of the gig can be seen only by the sound which is inferior both in terms of content and sound quality. That is why it was treated as a gift last week, but this time we not only showed the video version on the dual layer DVD – R, but remastered the audio to two CD – Rs Also included. Especially, as a result of applying the equalization to the speech, it was reborn as a stereo sound board recording completely different from the delivering tick quality of the past that was in the gift version of last week. Clearness itself, the audio of the video was superior, and the difference is obvious. Those who thought that it was such a thing after listening to the gift should have pulled down.

Also, already distributed videos are already split up by songs by songs and uploaded to YouTube, but realized recording with another quality of quality through a new DVD that is not a diversion from there. The YouTube version that is currently seen has many unnatural movements, and the sound is also rigid and thin. In that respect, this release has a different dimensionality, and it is clear enough to actually watch without stress even on a large screen. If you look at this image quality, it is still a strong member of a youthful impression, but Brian Rei appears as a feeling that it got older than ever.
Besides, unlike the sound version which was originally released as a short content, here also contains a lot of pole MCs in between songs. As I have held at Abbey Road Studios, there are only familiar episodes, but a lot of episodes at the time of recording Beatles’ songs are told. Whether this is also the charm unique to gigs different from ordinary live. “Lady Madonna” is not the usual psychedelic piano, it is such a rare scene that Paul moves to the piano used for the recording of the time and shows it and shows it in the studio. Moreover, it is interesting that the gig ends with ‘Helter Skelter’.

And the point that the recording tune was increased more than anything is a big appeal. Of course, “I Wanna Be Your Man” which is played with episodes raised the songs to Stones, is of course thanks, but it is a new album compilation more than that, yet at the moment it is still a fresh up up tour “Confidante” which is not played will be the biggest listening thing. Moreover, it can be seen and heard with perfect stereo sound board recording. Unlike songs like “Lead single” Come On To Me “, the entire album is unexpectedly calm songs. “Confidante” etc. are the best examples and it may not be said that it is a live oriented thoughtful. Perhaps I feel like treating the repertoire for sound checking like “On My Way To Work” when “NEW”.
In this way, the upper version enough for handling the press board from sound quality and content side appeared, but regretfully there was not one song “Get Back” played at encore So it was compatible with the release on CD-R & DVD-R. However, it is a stage with completely different contents from the gig at Grand Central Station, which was the timing of simultaneous release this week, so you can enjoy comparing that much. I can enjoy two types of secret gigs before the tour with pro shots!
