Four years after the formation, the early floyd reprint project Saucerful of Secrets, which is still exciting the world. The latest and best album arrives.
The “Copenhagen performance on May 16, 2022” is blown into this work. It is its ultra -finest audience recording. In our shop, we reported the first report of the tour resuming in the masterpiece “OXFORD 2022 (Amity 675)” and “Royal Albert Hall 2022 (Amity 676)”, but this is the third installment. However, this time it opened a little from the first report, so let’s first check the sense of distance on the tour schedule.

This is the schedule of 2022 that has been published so far. For convenience, we classified as “British / Continent Europe / North America”. The first report, “OXFORD 2022” and “Royal Albert Hall 2022”, were both live albums at the beginning, but the tour landed on the mainland of Europe. This work is a live album that is the first report of the continent rather than the “3rd tour”.
Also, the quality of the release was partly because of the quality. It wasn’t covered with no record. FLOYD enthusiasts are also known to be fertile in the rock world, and Saucerful of Secrets also has the finest class recording. However, even if I pressed it, “Oxford 2022” and “Royal Albert Hall 2022” were too wonderful. Moreover, Saucerful of Secrets now has an official live work. It is very difficult to recording the rising standards.
And this work has passed such a standard brilliantly. In fact, the sound is a trembling world of beautiful sounds. The thickness of the core, the fineness of the details, the zero distance adhesion … all the elements required for the name recording are all available, and the sound is exquisite. The hole sounding that rises up with a tower like an aura with an inseparable core and an aura is so beautiful that it gives a powerful core that is not said. The beauty of the well -conditioned is comparable to the polished official work, and the realism of one shot is even dignified. If this was the early Saucerful of Secrets activity, if the band had not yet appeared, it would be a superb sound with a “super” pressed press.
What is drawn in such a beauty record is the 2022 version of the full show. Roughly, the set is only a part of the song order from “Royal Albert Hall 2022”, so let’s change the perspective a little this time. Speaking of Copenhagen, there was also a masterpiece “Copenhagen 2018: Multicam (Amity 476)”, which was said to be “the best masterpiece” in the early days of activities. Comparing the evolution of the project in the city is also a unique way of enjoying a boot leg, so let’s organize it in comparison with the masterpieces four years ago.

結成から丸４年を経て、今なお世界を沸かせている初期フロイド復刻プロジェクトSAUCERFUL OF SECRETS。その最新・極上アルバムが到着です。
そんな本作に吹き込まれているのは「2022年５月16日コペンハーゲン公演」。その超極上オーディエンス録音です。当店では傑作『OXFORD 2022（Amity 675）』『ROYAL ALBERT HALL 2022（Amity 676）』でツアー再開の第一報をレポートしましたが、本作はそれに続く第３弾。ただし、今回は第一報から少し間も開きましたので、まずはツアー日程でそれぞれの距離感を確認しておきましょう。

これが現在までに公表されている2022年のスケジュール。便宜的に「英国篇／大陸ヨーロッパ篇／北米編」と分類させて頂きました。第一報の２連作『OXFORD 2022』『ROYAL ALBERT HALL 2022』はどちらも冒頭「英国編」のライヴアルバムだったわけですが、その後ツアーはヨーロッパ本土へ上陸。本作は「ツアー第３弾」と言うよりは「大陸編の第一報」となるライヴアルバムなのです。
また、リリースの間が空いたのはクオリティも一因でした。別に駄録音まみれだったわけではありません。FLOYDマニアはロック界でも耳が肥えている事でも知られ、SAUCERFUL OF SECRETSも極上クラスの録音が連発しています。しかし、それを押しても『OXFORD 2022』『ROYAL ALBERT HALL 2022』が素晴らしすぎた。しかも、今やSAUCERFUL OF SECRETSは公式ライヴ作品もある。上がりきった基準をクリアできる録音となると、なかなか難しいのです。
そして、そんな基準を見事にパスしたのが本作なのです。実際、そのサウンドは心震える美音の世界。芯の極太感やディテールの細やかさ、ゼロ距離な密着感……と名録音に必要な要素はすべて揃い、その上で鳴りも絶品。芯と不可分でオーラのように塔目感を持って立ち上るホール鳴りはどこまでも美しく、力強い芯に得も言われぬ艶と厚みを与えている。その均整の美は磨き込まれたオフィシャル作品にも匹敵し、それでいて一発録りだからこそのリアリズムは気品さえ漂わせている。もし、これがSAUCERFUL OF SECRETSの活動初期であったなら、もし公式作がまだ出ていないバンドであったなら、永久保存プレス化したであろう「超」付きの極上サウンドなのです。
そんな美録音で描かれるのは、2022年バージョンのフルショウ。ざっくばらんに言って、セットは『ROYAL ALBERT HALL 2022』と一部の曲順が違うだけですので、今回は少し視点を変えてみましょう。コペンハーゲンと言えば、活動初期に「最高傑作」とまで言われた名作『COPENHAGEN 2018: MULTICAM（Amity 476）』もありました。同都市でプロジェクトの進化度を比較するのもブートレッグならではの愉しみ方ですので、ここでは４年前の名作と比較しながら整理しておきましょう。
