The 3rd “PERFECT VERSION” following NEIL YOUNG’s AZTECA is an item of fan madness that completely recorded NEIL YOUNG’s live performance at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado on November 6, 1976 with an ultra-high-quality sound board.
The acoustic set in the first half, the live take of “CAMPAIGNER” is unusual. And I listen to it at once with the electric set of angry waves in the second half.
The bonus track cannot be ignored either. Four songs were recorded in the session at A & M Studio in 1972, three of which are included in this archive box Vol.2! It is also amazing that you can listen to the one song “COME ALONG AND SAY YOU WILL” that was not recorded! Of course the sound quality is also perfect. No matter how you look at it, it is thought that the archive box was leaked at the time of production. No, I can only say that it is really amazing, I think it can be said that it is exactly the archive Vol.2.1. Neil fan absolutely! absolutely! A must-have item! NEIL YOUNGのAZTECAに続く”PERFECT VERSION”第3弾はNEIL YOUNG1976年11月6日コロラド、ボールダーのコロラド大学でのライヴを超高音質サウンドボードで完全収録したファン狂喜のアイテムとなっております。
前半のアコースティック・セット、”CAMPAIGNER”のライヴ・テイクは珍しいですね。そして後半の怒涛のエレクトリック・セットと一気に聴いてしまいます。
ボーナス・トラックも無視できません。1972年A&Mスタジオでのセッションでは4曲録音されており、そのうちの３曲は今回のアーカイヴ・ボックスVol.2に収録されているのです！その収録されなかった１曲”COME ALONG AND SAY YOU WILL”が聴く事ができるのもこれまた凄い！もちろん音質も完璧です。これはどうみてもアーカイヴ・ボックスを製作時に流出したと考えられます。いやー本当に凄いとしか言いようがありません、まさにアーカイヴVol.2.1と言えるのではないでしょうか。ニール・ファン絶対！絶対！マストなアイテムです！装丁はベルベットマットコーティングの豪華紙ジャケット仕様です。好評発売中のDEMOS AND LIVE 1965-2012、シカゴ公演を収録のAZTECAもよろしくお願いします。
