A new series of shocking super-excellent original recordings is born! The soundboard-class master collection that has not been known until now is being discovered one after another. This week, three super masterpieces, the first in the series, will be released at once. It is open to the public on a permanent storage press CD!
Yngwie Malmsteen, EUROPE and Michael Schenker were selected for the first public release of the new master collection. This work is the Schenker edition. It is a transcendental audience recording of the performance of “November 13, 2006: Namba Hatch” that returned to Japan on the 25th anniversary tour.
Speaking of Michael Schenker in 2006, it is remembered in the “Nightmare Nakano Incident” where he hit the guitar with three songs and left, but it was only for that one day. Of course, this work is another performance where the full show was held without any problems. Let’s first look back on the schedule at that time in order to recall the circumstances in that area.

This work, which is a vacuum-packed show, is a live album of “Transcendence”. Like the simultaneous release of Ingvey’s “OSAKA 2001 DAT MASTER (Zodiac 521)” and EUROPE’s “HIROSHIMA 2005 DAT MASTER (Zodiac 522)”, it is an audience recording directly handed over by the recorder himself, but the sound that has flowed out. It’s like a sound board … No, I can only think of it as an “official work”. A feeling of zero distance with a thick core when turned on, and a wonderful feeling of separation of each instrument. Clear details from the start-up village of each sound to the mute. What on earth is “audience recording” … Even in front of the recorder’s own Omoto DAT, the suspicion that “Isn’t it really a leaked sound board?” [Official substitute for the Jari era that the official overlooked] What is drawn with such an ultra sound is a full show that should be called “a masterpiece of the Jari Tiura era”. MSG was restarted in 1996, but the singer was replaced until Gary Barden returned in 2010. I think there are many people who haven’t been able to keep up with it. This is a good opportunity, so let’s easily summarize each singer and their representative live works here.

《December 2007: Return to Gary Barden》
This was replaced by 6 singers from the restart to the return to Baden (In addition, there are live performances where Sundin and Baden returned with a momentary pinch hitter, but I omitted it for the sake of clarity). Five of them left their mark on the official live performance, with the only exception being Jari Tiura, who was also the main singer of “TALES OF ROCK’N’ROLL”. Yes, this work is the “official substitute for MSG in the Jari era” that was overlooked from the official.
The precious “TALES OF ROCK’N’ROLL” number and the resurrection song “But I Want More” that could not be heard at the 30th anniversary live are delicious, but more than that, the existence itself is equivalent to the official work. It is a superb full live album that symbolizes one era of Michael Schenker’s history. Press 2CD that permanently contained the impact of such a world first appearance. Please enjoy it to your heart’s content.
★ A transcendental audience recording of the “November 13, 2006 Namba Hatch” performance. The original recording, which will be released for the first time in the world, has a zero-distance feeling with a thick core on and a wonderful separation feeling of each instrument … everything is transcendent. 新たなる達人コレクションの初公開に選ばれたのは、イングヴェイ・マルムスティーン、EUROPE、マイケル・シェンカー。本作は、そのシェンカー編。25周年ツアーで日本に戻ってきた「2006年11月13日：なんばHatch」公演の超絶級オーディエンス録音です。
2006年のマイケル・シェンカーと言えば、頭３曲でギターを叩きつけて去った「悪夢の中野事件」で記憶されるわけですが、酷かったのはあの１日限り。もちろん、本作は問題なくフルショウが行われた別公演です。その辺の事情を思い起こすためにも、まずは当時のスケジュールから振り返ってみましょう。

【完全オフィシャル級の全世界初公開マスター】
これが2006年／2007年の来日公演。当初、25周年来日は全５公演の予定でしたが、中野２日目に事件が勃発。その３ヶ月後には振り替え公演のために再来日しました。本作の大阪公演は、そんな事件が待っているとは誰も想像だにしていない初日の夜でした。
そんなショウを真空パックした本作は、まさに「超絶」のライヴアルバム。同時リリースとなるイングヴェイ篇『OSAKA 2001 DAT MASTER（Zodiac 521）』、EUROPE篇『HIROSHIMA 2005 DAT MASTER（Zodiac 522）』と同じく、録音家本人から直接譲られたオーディエンス録音なのですが、流れ出てきたサウンドはまるでサウンドボード……いや、「まるでオフィシャル作品」としか思えない。オンで極太な芯のゼロ距離感、各楽器の見事なセパレート感。１音１音の立ち上げ里から消音まで克明なディテール。これの一体どこが「オーディエンス録音」なのか……。録音家本人の大元DATを目の前にしても「本当は流出サウンドボードなんじゃないのか」との疑念が頭を離れてくれないのです。
【公式が見落としたジャリ時代のオフィシャル代わり】
そんなウルトラ・サウンドで描かれるのは「ジャリ・ティウラ時代の代表作」と呼ぶべきフルショウ。MSGは1996年に再起動されたわけですが、2010年にゲイリー・バーデンが復帰するまでシンガーがコロコロ交代。キチンと追え切れていない方も多いのではないでしょうか。良い機会ですので、ここで各シンガーとそれぞれの代表ライヴ作品をカンタンにまとめてみましょう。

《2007年12月：ゲイリー・バーデン復帰》
これが再起動からバーデン復帰までに入れ替わっていったシンガー６人（この他、一瞬の代打でスンディンやバーデンが復帰したライヴもありますが、わかりやすさ重視で省略しました）。このうち５人は公式ライヴ作に足跡を残したわけですが、唯一の例外が『TALES OF ROCK’N’ROLL』のメイン・シンガーでもあったジャリ・ティウラでした。そう、本作こそが公式から見落とされた「ジャリ時代MSGのオフィシャル代わり」なのです。
貴重な『TALES OF ROCK’N’ROLL』ナンバーや30周年ライヴで聴けなかった復活曲「But I Want More」も美味しいのですが、それ以上に存在そのものがオフィシャル作品と同等。マイケル・シェンカー史の１つの時代を象徴する超極上フル・ライヴアルバムです。そんな世界初登場の衝撃を永久に封じ込めたプレス２CD。どうぞ、存分に味わい尽くしてください。
