Introducing valuable demo tracks before Marshall Crenshaw, a melody maker in the power pop world who is also known as Buddy Holly in the 80’s, belonged to Warner.
Since the master is a cassette tape, it has some roughness, but it is a collector’s item that fans will love. You can fully enjoy the initial demo of the debut work “Something’s Gonna Happen” which will be covered by Ronnie Spector later. You can also enjoy the good old rock and roll scent, Todd Rundgren clause, and the roots of the popular cult Marshall. He played the undercard of Dave Edmunds, and he has a deep knowledge of punk and participated in the MC5 reunion live, so you can see his musical curiosity as a melody. It’s a shame to think that you’re just “Someday Someway”!

マスターがカセットテープなので粗さはありますが、ファンにはたまらないコレクターズな代物です。後にロニースペクターにもカバーされるデビュー作「Something’s Gonna Happen」の初期デモもどっぷり楽しめます。古き良きロックンロールの香り、トッドラングレン節、カルト人気のマーシャルのルーツも味わえる。あのデイブエドモンズの前座をこなしたり、またパンクにも造詣が深くMC5の再結成ライブにも参加するなど、彼の音楽的好奇心がメロディーになっているのが存分に分かる。「Someday Someway」だけの人と思っているなんて勿体ない！
