Thank you for leaving a memorable first performance in Japan. So this sound source is the so-called “Rock Carnival” source. It ’s easy to see if this is the best and it ’s famous among fans. The performance was born in a relaxed mood in the first place in Japan away from the US tour. On the first day, the long medley of “Love of the Chest” is back and you can listen to “Tobacco Road”, “Good Times, Bad Times” and so on. The climax is at its peak, and the “Communication Breakdown” in Angkor will require the plant to soothe the fans who are trying to get on the stage. If there are young people or rock fans who do not know the live performance of this day, how about the introduction? . I’m glad if you can reach out to other live albums as a result of this.

記念すべき初来日公演を素晴らしい録音で残してくれてありがとう。そうこの音源が通称「ロック・カーニバル」のソース。これがベストだとファンの間で有名なのは聴いてもらえればすぐに分かります。アメリカ・ツアーから離れ日本という初めての場所でリラックスしたムードで名演が生まれました。初日もそうで「胸いっぱいの愛」の長尺メドレーが復活し「タバコ・ロード」「グッド・タイムス・バッド・タイムス」等を聴くことができます。そして最高潮に盛り上がり、アンコールの「コミュニケイション・ブレイクダウン」ではステージに上がってこようとするファンをプラントはなだめなくてはいけない事態になるのです。もしまだこの日のライヴを知らない若者やロックファンの方がいらっしゃれば入門編でいかがでしょうか。。これをきっかけに他のライヴ盤にも手をのばしてもらえれば嬉しい限りです。
