From the 1977 North American tour, the Pontiac performance will be released on April 30th!
The latest remastered sound source from the recently talked about “The Dogs of Doom” (hereinafter DoD) has been made into a CD!

Originally it was this live that first appeared on the nostalgic (standard of inquiries) TDOLZ board around 1996,
At that time, it was overlooked because it was a minor sound source, and it was not made into a sound source at all for about 20 years after that, but an upgrade sound source appeared a few years ago, and multiple items have just been made into a sound source for the first time in a while.
However, this time with the appearance from the “DoD” team, the history of Tape is unknown, but
The freshness is definitely better than the existing one, there is almost no roughness (jerky texture) due to the tape’s gene drop that was seen in the existing one, and the low range that was squishy also extends in a well-balanced manner, and the difference is heard. You can understand.
Also, it is a high point that the front and back of the cut part is slightly longer than before.
(* The cut in the song that was originally being played is only one place in Moby Dick, and the sound source with very excellent recording content)

This time, the “DoD” master is remastered more carefully. Since the quality is high enough from the beginning, it is limited to a slight phase correction, pitch correction, and EQ correction (slight relaxation of hiss) in the extra hiss band in the high frequency range.
There was no problem with the phase shift in most cases, but the sound source was monaural only in the section from the guitar solo (Dazed) to “heaven” at the end of the live, and the one that was greatly shifted to the right only in that section is the book. The board is carefully corrected to the center localization.
The pitch is also at a level where there is almost no problem from the beginning, but from the beginning of the live to around “Kashmir”, the one that was only slightly higher has been corrected.

Furthermore, this time, a special card (CD jacket size) with many original shots of the day when “DoD” was released is included for a limited time! Although it is a small image, there are plenty of highlights, such as a bird’s-eye view of the stage (the screen was installed at the top) at that time! (More than anything else, it’s rare to see a performance day with so many photos of the day!)
The CD label is now available on the permanent edition of the picture disc!

’77年北米ツアーより4月30日ポンティアック公演が登場！
近年話題の「The Dogs of Doom」(以下DoD)による音源に、最新のリマスターが施されCD化！

元々’96年頃に懐かしの(すっかり引き合いの定番)TDOLZ盤で初登場した本ライブですが、
当時はマイナー音源ということで見過ごされ、それ以降約20年全く音盤化もなされなかったのですが、数年前にアップグレード音源が登場し、久々に複数のアイテムが音盤化されたばかり。
が、今回はさらに「DoD」チームからの登場で、Tapeの履歴はジェネ不明とされていますが、
鮮度は既発よりも間違いなく良く、既発で見られたTapeのジェネ落ちによる音の粗さ(ジャリジャリした質感)も殆どなく、またスカスカだった低域もバランス良く伸び、一聴してその違いが分かるというもの。
また、所々のカット部前後が今までよりも若干ながら長くなっているのも高ポイント。
(*元々演奏中の曲中カットはMoby Dickにある1箇所のみと、非常に収録内容の優れた音源)

今回はその「DoD」マスターをさらに丁寧にリマスター。元々が十分に高品質のため、位相の若干の修正とピッチの修正、高域の余計なヒス帯域のEQ補正(ヒスの若干の緩和)に留められております。
位相のズレに関しては大部分で問題なかったのですが、ライブ終盤のギターソロ(Dazed)から「天国」の区間のみ音源がモノラルとなっており、その区間だけ右寄りに大きくズレていたものが、本盤では丁寧にセンター定位に補正されております。
ピッチについても元々殆ど問題ないレベルですが、ライブ序盤から「Kashmir」あたりまで、ほんの僅かに高かったものが補正されております。

限定ナンバリング入りで、ステッカーがケース前面に添付された仕様。
さらに今回は特別に「DoD」公開の貴重な当日のオリジナルショットを両面に多数掲載したカード(CDジャケサイズ)が限定で付属！俯瞰で見る当時のステージ(上部にスクリーンが設置されていた)写真など、小さい画像ながら、見所は満載！(何よりもこれだけ当日の写真がある公演日も珍しい！)
CDラベルはピクチャーディスクの永久仕様の愛蔵盤で登場です！
