Live just before “Burn Like A Candle” familiar to fans.
There is currently only one type of sound source for this day, and it first appeared under the title “BERDU” (SCEAMING OISEAU) (2LP), which was an homage to the title in this edition during the LP era.
Even in the CD era, it is an item of the same performance that is hidden in the shadow of “Burn Like” and appears regularly at a constant pace, but surprisingly, the main board,
・With high sound quality,
・The song order is correct,
・The pitch is also accurate,
・In addition, there is no phase shift,
・Furthermore, there is no smell of digital noise.
It will be my first title.
Especially in the recent editions (such as the Godfather edition), there are items with very unnatural and digital sounds, such as hiss rising and falling in conjunction with the MC’s conversations and musical tones due to the noise gate system noise reduction. Although it was conspicuous, there is no hiss on this board, and there is no unnaturalness.
In addition, the phase shift is a problem that can be seen in all past titles, and they are all biased to the left. It was too biased. However, regarding the Cobra board, due to the problem of CD recording time at that time, the song order was different from the actual performance order, and it was a bigger problem that it was replaced. . .
That’s why, finally, a title with various problems resolved appears here for the first time!

’72年北米ツアーよりサンバーナーディーノ公演をステレオAudにて収録したプレス決定盤！
ファンにはお馴染み『Burn Like A Candle』の直前のライブ。
この日の音源は現状1種類のみで、LP時代に今回盤でもタイトルがオマージュされた『BERDU』(SCEAMING OISEAU)(2LP)というタイトルで初登場。
CD時代になってからも、『Burn Like』の影に隠れ地味ながらも一定のペースで定期的に登場する同公演アイテムですが、意外な事に本盤が、
・高音質で、
・曲順も正しく、
・ピッチも正確で、
・なおかつ位相ズレもなく、
・さらにデジタルノイズ臭も一切ない、
初めてのタイトルとなります。
特に近年盤(例: Godfather盤など)ではノイズゲート系のノイズリダクションの影響でヒスがMCの会話や楽音に連動して上下するなど、ワサワサとした非常に不自然でデジタルチックなサウンドのアイテムが目立ちましたが、今回盤はヒスこそあれ、不自然さは一切なし。
また、位相のズレに関しては過去全てのタイトルで見られる問題であり、どれも大きく左に偏っており、その中ではコブラ盤が比較的マトモな定位でしたが、何故か同盤では逆に右寄りに偏り過ぎていた、というもの。もっとも、コブラ盤に関しては、当時のCD収録時間の問題のため、曲順が実際の演奏順序と異なり、入れ替わっていたことの方が大きな問題であったのですが。。。
そんな訳で、遂に、各種問題点が解消されたタイトルが、ここに初めて登場！
