これこそが「スーパー・リアルALIVE III」の理由なわけですが、クオリティも「準オフィシャル品」と呼びたくなる素晴らしさ。実のところ、従来から有名な既発も存在するのですが、本作はそんな既発のコピーでもリマスターでもない。同時リリースの『DAYTON 1992』と同じ関係者からもたらされた最高峰クオリティの大元マスターなのです。ただし、サウンドの個性は『DAYTON 1992』とちょっと違っており、本作は盛り上がりまくる大歓声もミックスされ、アンサンブルも端正。演奏も高音の伸びもキラキラとしている。これは完全に推測ですが、すでに公式リリースを睨んでテスト的にミックスされた段階のマスターなのかも知れません。
そのブリリアント・サウンドで描かれるのは、「真のALIVE III」とでも言えるフルショウ。ざっくばらんに言って、セット的には「DAYTON 1992＋Tears Are Falling」。ですので、『ALIVE III』との比較はそちらの解説を参照していただくとして、ここでは同じく『ALIVE III』の元ネタであるデトロイト公演（11/27）もプロショット版と比較してみましょう。
