“End of the Road World Tour” has entered its climax, less than half a year until the last concert. A super spectacle video that allows you to fully experience the latest stage has arrived.
This work was shot at “Berlin performance on June 22, 2023”. It is the super superb view audience shot. Speaking of representative videos in recent years, the masterpiece “BUENOS AIRES 2022: LIVE WEBCAST” and the Japanese performance “TOKYO DOME 2022” are famous, but this work is a strong experience video with a “monopoly feeling” that is different from such professional shots. . Before the detailed contents, first the position of the show. Together with the aforementioned representative video, let’s take a bird’s eye view of the tour schedule currently in progress.

This is KISS in 2022/2023 . Currently, they are continuing their final European tour “Europe #2”. The Berlin performance of this work is the 10th concert, which is the middle point (by the way, it is also after the 6th performance of “AMSTERDAM 2023 (Shades 1802)”, which will be released at the same time this week). In this work, you can fully experience the day by placing the main part of such a show on DISC 1 and the sound check on DISC 2.
And that scene is the biggest point. It is a miracle shot that perfectly integrates the three elements of “distant view spectacle”, “ease of viewing professional shots”, and “ultra-realistic experience”. I feel like I’m about to hear someone saying, “What’s that?”, but if I put it into words objectively, it might be difficult to convey the amazing flavor. A video without any camera work such as zooming.”
Look, didn’t you think it was “shabby”? Not really.
It may be difficult to understand if it is a captured image because it is small, but the “full view of the stage” and the “huge screen” are completely contained in the superb view screen with zero obstructions. The dancing light show, dokkan dokkan and flashy pyrotechnics, all of the many gimmicks are fully suppressed, and the scale of the huge venue is intense. This is the “distant view spectacle”.
And the pro-shot video projected on the on-site screen corresponds to the “easiness of viewing the pro-shot”. The appearance of the members, who tend to be small and dull in relation to the sense of scale of the production, is suppressed by the pull-up, and the weakness of the distant view is followed.
And it is “ultra-realistic experience” that both of them jump into your eyes at once. The point here is that it is a fixed angle that abandons camera work. In the first place, the human eye cannot have a zoom function, and a fixed angle is a realistic viewpoint. Moreover, I do not miss the important scene conversely trying to follow the members without being busy (of course, Paul is following the camera neatly in “Love Gun” flying to the B stage).
The field of view that captures all the elements on one screen is miraculous, but I fully understand its flavor and overcome the temptation of a direct-shooting zoom. The joy of the concert experience, and the judgment that I am familiar with every corner of the KISS production. As simple as it sounds, this is not something you can do very often.
It is a full show that can be called “KISS’s final answer” that is drawn with such visual beauty of Takumi. The set is a style that omits “Do You Love Me” from last year’s encore visit to Japan, but let’s organize it just in case.

The simultaneous release of “AMSTERDAM 2023” is shocking with the ultimate front row experience, but because it is super close, not all of the show is on the screen. On the other hand, this work is “all the show elements”, and it is the “ultimate naked eye sensation” because there is no zoom. It is a masterpiece as a single music work, and a heartwarming movement with the emotion of “End of the Road World Tour”. And a deep 2-disc set that teaches the depth of the audience shot. Please experience everything on the day, including the sound check, to your heart’s content.

★ A superb view audience shot of “Berlin performance on June 22, 2023”. I am capturing a distant view from the stand seats, but with zero obstructions, both the spectacle of the venue and the professional shot image of the huge screen are perfect. The shooting technique without zooming is also extremely realistic with the naked eye.

そんな本作が撮影されたのは「2023年６月22日ベルリン公演」。その超絶景オーディエンス・ショットです。近年の代表映像と言えば、名作『BUENOS AIRES 2022: LIVE WEBCAST』や日本公演の『TOKYO DOME 2022』が有名ですが、本作はそうしたプロショットとは異なる「独り占め感」が強烈な体験映像です。その詳しい内容の前に、まずはショウのポジション。前述の代表映像とも合わせ、現在進行中のツアー・スケジュールで俯瞰してみましょう。

これが2022年／2023年のKISS。現在は最後のヨーロッパ・ツアー「欧州#2」を続行中。本作のベルリン公演は、その中間点にあたる10公演目のコンサート（ちなみに今週同時リリースとなる『AMSTERDAM 2023（Shades 1802）』の６公演後でもあります）。　本作はそんなショウの本編をDISC 1、サウンドチェックをDISC 2に配して当日をフル体験できます。
そして、その光景こそが最大のポイント。「遠景スペクタクル」「プロショットの観やすさ」「超リアルな体験感」の３要素がものの見事に一体化した奇跡ショットなのです。今にも「ナニそれ？」という声が聞こえてきそうですが、客観的に文字化するとスゴ味が伝わりづらいかも知れない………誤解を恐れずに申しますと「スタンド席からのワンカメ遠景ショットで、ズームなどのカメラワークが一切ない映像」です。
ほら「ショボそう」と思われませんでしたか？　実はそうではないのです。
キャプチャー画像だと小さくて分かりづらいかも知れませんが、遮蔽物ゼロの絶景画面に「ステージ全景」と「巨大スクリーン」がすっぽりと収まっている。乱舞するライトショウやドッカンドッカンとド派手なパイロ、数々の仕掛けを丸ごと全部押さえており、ドデカい会場のスケール感が強烈。これが「遠景スペクタクル」です。
そして、「プロショットの観やすさ」にあたるのが現場スクリーンに映し出されているプロショット映像。演出のスケール感に対して小さくしょぼくなりがちなメンバーの姿をドアップで押さえてくれ、遠景の弱みをフォローしてくれるのです。
そして、その両者が一度に目に飛び込むのが「超リアルな体験感」。ここでポイントなのは、カメラワークを放棄した固定アングルである事。そもそも人間の肉眼にズーム機能などあるはずもなく、固定アングルこそがリアルな視点でもある。しかも、メンバーを忙しなく追おうとして逆に重要シーンを見逃すこともないのです（もちろん、ポールがＢステージへと飛んでいく「Love Gun」ではキッチリ綺麗にカメラで追っています）。
１つの画面ですべての要素を押さえられる視界が奇跡的なのですが、その旨みをキチンと理解し、直写ズームの誘惑を振り切って撮影しきる。コンサート体験の楽しさ、KISS演出を隅々まで熟知しているからこその判断。簡単なようでいて、これはそうそう出来る事ではありません。
そんな匠の映像美で画かれるのは、「KISSの最終回答」とも言うべきフルショウ。セットは昨年のアンコール来日から「Do You Love Me」を省略したスタイルではありますが、念のため整理しておきましょう。
