JOURNEY has also been well received for the latest tour “FREEDOM Tour 2022” that follows TOTO. The latest report, the finest video, will be released at the same time!
This work is the first of such two series. It is a superb view audience shot of “February 22, 2022 Pittsburgh performance”. We have been reporting the fastest on the live album since the start of the tour, but this is the first video. Moreover, two works have been released at the same time. I will leave the explanation of “SACRAMENTO 2022: THE VIDEO (Uxbridge 1628)”, which will be released at the same time, to explain the positional relationship of each title, and let’s review their recent situation.

This is the outline of the activities that have been announced so far. Last summer, he released his new song “The Way We Used To Be” for the first time in 11 years, but the release date of the new album “FREEDOM”, which has already been completed, has not been decided yet, and it will be on the tour “North America # 3” for the first time in a while. Pushing forward. The Pittsburgh performance of this work was the concert on the first day, which was also the kick-off. Looking back, there will be no live activities in 2020 due to the new corona pandemic, and in 2019 there will be only mini tours with less than 20 performances. This is the first full-scale tour activity in four years since 2018, and it was the first step to restart it.
This work, which is conveyed at such a show, has a magnificent view. The point is the shooting position. The first thing that surprises me is that it is directly in front of me. The distance is about the 10th row in front, but the drum kit sits in front of you, and it is a de-center seat that you can see symmetrically as measured with a ruler.
And what is even more surprising is the height of the line of sight. In the arena, it is natural that there is a shadow of the front seat, and if you are not good at it, you have to go through the arm you swing up and shoot. Therefore, you can’t expect a superb view unless you have a limited number of seats, such as the stand seats on the second floor or near the front. However, this work upsets such common sense. The line of sight is strangely high, far above the front passengers and a little below the members on the stage. They are looking directly at the stage through the head of the audience in the arena on the first floor. As an image, it is a position where the smartphone is raised with full power, but for that it is stable and extremely easy to see. Is it even if you put something like a selfie stick above your head?
Anyway, the field of view opened to the left and right is wide and you can see what you want to see. Even if you just face the front, the well-moving Arnel Pineda and the super-spectacle of the huge screen that occupies the field of vision jump into your eyes at the same time. Anyway, it is a superb view shot that is easy to see and beautiful, and also has a realistic experience in the middle of the arena.
What you can enjoy from such a special seat is a treasure box of melody full of famous songs produced by JOURNEY. The latest tour set is not fixed, but changes little by little depending on the show. It’s different from the live albums I’ve introduced so far, but this time it’s a video work, so let’s organize it by comparing it with the simultaneous release “SACRAMENTO 2022: THE VIDEO”.
