Iggy Pop’s 3rd album, New Value’s North American tour Minneapolis performance is recorded with the finest AUD sound source. Iggy’s back at this time is a face of punk fan delight. Glen Matlock has been selected from the popular guitarist Brian James and Rich Kids, who are familiar with Damdo. Ivan Král from Patti Smith Group. A powerful lineup from Tangerine Dream to Klaus Krieger. The China Girl (recorded in the 1st idiot), which later became a big hit by David Bowie, conveys the best sharpness. イギーポップ3rdアルバム、ニューバリューの北米ツアーミネアポリス公演を極上AUD音源にて収録。この時期のイギーのバックはパンクファン歓喜の面子。ダムドお馴染み人気ギタリスト、ブライアンジェイムス、リッチキッズ活動停止から抜擢されたグレンマトロック。パティスミスグループからアイヴァンクラール。タンジェリンドリームからクラウスクリーガーという強力な布陣。後にデヴィッドボウイにより大ヒットするチャイナガール(1stイディオット収録)が特に最高なキレッキレさが伝わる。ストゥージスナンバーでの生粋のイギーファン、ブライアンジェイムスが喜んで(後にこの過密なツアースケジュールに我慢ならずサポート脱退するわけだが)ギターを弾いている様子を想像して微笑ましくもなる本作。3rdのあたりからソングライティングの才能も遺憾なく発揮するイギーポップの正に絶頂期。1979年パンクロックの衰退の貴重な時期の夢の面子の音に酔いしれてほしい。
