Headless, the highest jazz collector’s label, has reissued the valuable titles of handmade labels for collectors, which were distributed only in a small part, from the official master who took over. Hawk is here. Rare titles are re-appearing at affordable prices with reissue emblems and newly refurbished back jackets.

A live compilation of Nucleus led by Ian Carr, an important band alongside Soft Machine in British jazz rock. What is featured is that he is enrolled in Allan Holdsworth. In the first place, Nucleus and Soft Machine have similar members, and Allan Holdsworth has a history of enrollment in both bands. Holdsworth was sought after in the jazz and rock world of the 70’s and was appointed here and there, but there are also quite a few featured and long solo parts everywhere. The sound source in June 1972 was recorded by the audience, in November the hiss noise became stronger even though it was a sound board, and in 1980 it became a high-quality sound board. Except for the 1980 sound source, it is not for beginners, but it is not a band for beginners in the first place.

ブリティッシュ・ジャズ・ロックでソフト・マシーンと並び重要なバンド、イアン・カー率いるニュークリアスのライヴ・コンピレーションです。特集されているのはアラン・ホールズワース在籍と言う点。そもそもニュークリアスとソフト・マシーンはメンバーが似通っていて、アラン・ホールズワースも例に漏れず両方のバンドに在籍歴があります。70年代ジャズ・ロック界ではホールズワースは引っ張りだこで、あちこちで起用されていますが、ここでもかなりフィーチャーされ長いソロ・パートも随所に。1972年6月の音源はオーディエンス録音、11月はサウンドボードながらヒスノイズが強め、1980年は高音質サウンドボードとなります。1980年の音源を除くと初心者向けではありませんが、そもそも初心者向けのバンドではありません。
