The DVD label “Black Lodge” series has appeared in the Necromancer series, which reissues the valuable titles of handmade labels for collectors, which were distributed only in a small part, from the official master who took over officially. Rare titles are re-appearing at affordable prices with reissue emblems.

This is a professional shot live video of Herbie Hancock. Hancock plays an active part in electric and acoustic, but the recording here is acoustic. An orthodox jazz style with acoustic bass on the piano. The bass is his ally Buster Williams, and the drums are Al Foster, who supported Miles’ electric era. After all, Al Foster is reminiscent of electric miles when he hits a crash cymbal. Two songs in the second half are a quartet with Michael Brecker added to this trio.

ハービー・ハンコックのプロ・ショット・ライヴ映像です。エレクトリックにアコースティックにと縦横無尽に活躍するハンコックですが、ここに収録はアコースティック。ピアノにアコースティック・ベースのオーソドックスなジャズ・スタイル。ベースは盟友バスター・ウィリアムスで、ドラムスはマイルスのエレクトリック時代を支えたアル・フォスターです。やっぱアル・フォスターはクラッシュ・シンバル叩くとエレクトリック・マイルスを彷彿とさせます。後半に二曲収録されているのはこのトリオにマイケル・ブレッカーが加わったカルテットです。
