From Eric Clapton’s latest European tour, the best audience shot complete recording video of the 2DAYS performance that was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on June 7th and 8th the other day is urgently released as a set of 2! As fans know, Clapton was infected with the corona virus shortly after the performance at Royal Albert Hall in London on May 7th and 8th, which was recently released at our shop, and the planned tour I had to postpone the initial process. Even if the announcement of the postponement is unavoidable, what is the life-threatening effect of corona infection on older Clapton? Will it recover? What are the aftereffects even after recovery? It was something that worried fans all over the world. Fortunately, I returned to the tour safely from the Berlin performance on May 29, and relieved the fans. After that, the tour went smoothly, and it is said that this Amsterdam performance was reached (the postponed performance was rescheduled in the fall).
The first day of June 7th is a shot from the 2nd floor stand right next to the stage, and it is a beautiful image with no obstacles in front and a slightly overlooking angle of the stage. Centering on Clapton, Paul Carrack of the keyboard is captured above, and Chris Stinton of the piano located at the opposite pole is captured below, when each member takes a solo, including Doyle Bramhall. Each realizes a super close shot of zooming up. Of course, Clapton himself always captures the up shot of the upper body, and it is in the form of worshiping the profile of Clapton to play. It is an excellent image that does not make you feel any stress, without darkening between songs and without the camera pointing in the wrong direction from beginning to end. The voice is also recorded with a very good stereo audience recording while making the hall sound feel, and occasionally the conversation and coughing of the customer located on the right side of the photographer is captured, but the sound High quality without any trouble.
The second day of June 8th is a monochrome tone, but it is a complete recording version of a professional shot that perfectly captures the screenshot. There are no screen framing or angle issues, no image distortion, and no camera shake. The reason for the monochrome is unknown, but the fact that you can worship the up Clapton with the clear image quality of the professional shot is full of charm different from the first day. As long as it is a professional shot, not only the up from the front of Clapton, but also the up of the guitar when taking a solo, the up shot of each member, the stage image of the pull and the variety of shots are combined and it makes me bored not. The sound of this day is closer to the music than the first day, and it is captured as a wonderful sound that can be released on the press CD as it is.
The best image of 2DAYS that perfectly captured the whole picture of the resumed tour. It is a wonderful image that you can re-enjoy the energetic appearance of professional Clapton who does not feel the influence even though he is sick.

After all, this 2DAYS performance will be characterized by having a set list with less burden on the body, considering the physical condition of Clapton who is sick. In other words, it was a set list that was safe for Clapton but could be expected to play solidly. In the Berlin performance that returned from Corona, Smiles in the White Room and acoustic set were left on the set, but in this performance they were cut and replaced with Paul Carrack’s number. The electric version of Layla that I played at RAH has also been removed here and is only played on the acoustic set. Given the amount of energy consumed by this song, which Clapton himself admits, this is no wonder, and it can be said that measures around this point are unavoidable. That said, I’m grateful that he changed the set list in two days. On the first day, Carrack’s number was Next Time You See Me, and Clapton’s narration on the acoustic set was Driftin’, but on the second day. The carac number is How Long and the Clapton blues is rare That’s All Right. In that sense, each of the two days will have a different taste, so I think you can enjoy it as a set of two. Above all, I’m glad to be able to confirm the play of Clapton that has been energized throughout the two days. Given the age of 77 and the fact that he is sick, it’s surprising that he looks incredibly “crispy” (no one can call him “old man” when he sees this Clapton). .. You can see the play like Clapton in the solo of each song, and the solo in the blues number guarantees the performance more than the average in the place where there is no burden on the body anymore, and this can be said to be Clapton. In addition, the sequel to I Shot The Sheriff on the first day and the Pritting solo on the second day show that they are “not rusty” with some scenes that fold up prominently aggressive phrases.
It is a wonderful audience shot video that makes you feel like you went to see Clapton’s latest concert, which has resumed the tour energetically, for two consecutive days. Please take a look.

エリック・クラプトンの最新ヨーロッパツアーから、つい先日、6月7日と8日にオランダのアムステルダムで行なわれた2DAYS公演の極上オーディエンスショット完全収録映像が2枚組で緊急リリース決定です！ファンの方はご存知でしょうが、先般当店でリリース致しました5月7日、8日のロンドン、ロイヤル・アルバート・ホール公演の直後にクラプトンはコロナウィルスに感染してしまい、予定されていたツアーの初期行程を延期せざるを得なくなってしまいました。延期の発表は止むを得ないとしても、高齢のクラプトンへのコロナ感染症の影響について、命の危険は？快復するのか？快復しても後遺症は？など世界中のファンを心配させたものでした。幸いにも5月29日のベルリン公演から無事にツアー復帰し、ファンを安堵させました。その後は順調にツアーは進行し、このアムステルダム公演を迎えたということです（延期された公演は秋にリスケされました）。
6月7日の初日は、ステージに向かって右真横の2階スタンドからのショットで、前方には一切障害物のない、ステージをやや見下ろすアングルの綺麗な映像となっています。クラプトンを中心に、上にはキーボードのポール・キャラックを捉え、下には対極に位置したピアノのクリス・スティントンまでを捉えており、ドイル・ブラムホールを始め、各メンバーがソロをとる際にはそれぞれズームアップの超接近ショットを実現しています。もちろんクラプトン自身は常に上半身のアップショットで捉えており、プレイするクラプトンの横顔を拝める形になっています。曲間でも暗転したり、カメラがあらぬ方向を向くこともなく、終始安定したトラブルなしの、何のストレスも感じさせない優れた映像です。音声の方も、ホールの鳴りは感じさせつつも非常に良好なステレオ・オーディエンス録音で収録されており、時折撮影者の右側に位置する客の会話や咳払いも捉えられてはいますが、音の方もトラブルなしのハイクオリティです。
6月8日の2日目はモノクロトーンなのですが、スクリーンショットを完璧に捉えた、言わばプロショットの完全収録版となっています。スクリーンのフレーム取りや角度的な問題はなく、画像の歪みはありませんし、カメラのブレもまったくありません。モノクロの理由は不明ですが、プロショットの鮮明画質でアップのクラプトンが拝めるのが、また初日とは違った魅力に満ちています。プロショットである限りは、クラプトンの正面からのアップはもちろんのこと、ソロをとる際のギターのアップ、各メンバーのアップショット、引きのステージ像とバラエティに富んだショットが組み合わされていて飽きさせません。この日の音声は初日よりも楽音に近いもので、このままプレスCDでリリースできるレベルの素晴らしいサウンドで捉えられています。
再開されたツアーの全貌を完璧に捉えた2DAYSの極上映像。病み上がりにもかかわらず、その影響を微塵も感じさせないプロフェッショナルなクラプトンの元気な姿を再び堪能できる素晴らしい映像です。
【ロイヤル・アルバート・ホールから変化したセットリストも妙味！】
やはりこの2DAYS公演は、病み上がりのクラプトンの体調を考慮し、体への負担の少ないセットリストになっていたことが特徴でしょう。言い換えれば、クラプトンにとって無難だが手堅いプレイが期待できるセットリストだったということです。コロナからの復帰したベルリン公演ではWhite RoomやアコースティックセットでのSmileがセットには残されていましたが、本公演ではそれらはカットされ、代わりにポール・キャラックのナンバーがフィーチャーされています。RAHではプレイしたエレクトリックバージョンのLaylaもここでははずされていて、アコースティックセットでのみのプレイとなっています。クラプトン自身も認めるこの曲のエネルギーの消費量からすれば、これも頷けますし、このあたりの措置は止むを得ないと言えるものでしょう。そうは言っても2日間でセットリストを変えてくれたのはありがたいところで、初日にはキャラックのナンバーはNext Time You See Me、アコースティックセットでのクラプトンの弾き語りブルースはDriftin’ですが、2日目は、キャラックナンバーはHow Long、クラプトンのブルースはレアなThat’s All Rightとなっています。そういう意味で2日間ではそれぞれまた違った味わいがありますので、2枚組で楽しんでいただけると思います。何よりも2日間を通して元気になったクラプトンのプレイが確認できることが嬉しいところです。77歳という高齢に加え、病み上がりという状況を考えれば、信じられないような「かくしゃくとした」姿であることが驚きです（誰もこのクラプトンを見て「お爺さん」とは呼べないでしょう）。各曲のソロではクラプトンらしいプレイを観ることができ、ブルースナンバーにおけるソロは、もう体への負担など関係ないところでのアベレージ以上の出来栄えを保証するもので、これぞクラプトンと言えるものです。さらに初日のI Shot The Sheriffの後奏、2日目のPritendingのソロなどは、際立ってアグレッシヴなフレーズを畳み掛けるシーンもあり、決して「錆びついていない」ことを証明しています。
元気にツアーを再開したクラプトンの最新コンサートを2日間連続で観に行った感覚にしてくれる、素晴らしいオーディエンスショット映像です。是非ご覧ください。
