A 1978 live recording by Elton Dean’s quartet. High-quality sound board recording. Elton Dean is a well-known soft machine saxophonist. And the piano is Keith Tippett, whose genealogy overlaps with King Crimson’s Robert Fripp. It’s a quartet like Soft Machine + King Crimson, but the content is more like free jazz than jazz rock or prog.
