The masterpiece is “February 13, 1988 Denver performance”. Yes, that live where the official video work “IN THE ROUND IN YOUR FACE” was shot. It was made into a live album on the 30th anniversary of “HYSTERIA”, but that was just a video version of the CD. This work is officially a transcendental stereo sound board recording that completely records the cut songs.
So far, there are various people who say “Wow, nostalgic!” To “Is there a video in the HYSTERIA era?” Of course, this work is a decisive board that will set a new record high even for those who know the conventional version, but it is also the most important album for those who are more beginners. Such a show was officially shot professionally and became a video work “IN THE ROUND IN YOUR FACE”, but that was not the entire show. After that, from the beginning of the 90’s, the sound board for all songs leaked from the people concerned. ★ Leaked stereo sound board recording of “February 13, 1988 Denver performance”. The complete version of the official video work “IN THE ROUND IN YOUR FACE”, which was not officially used for “Don’t Shoot Shotgun”, “Let It Go”, “Tear It Down”, “Travellin’Band” and PV shooting. これが絶頂“HYSTERIA World Tour”の全体像。1988年と言えばゴールデン・ウィーク明けの来日公演も懐かしいところですが、本作のデンバー公演はその３ヶ月前にあたる「北米#2b」の23公演目。年末年始を挟んで繰り広げられた長大な全米ツアーももうすぐ一区切りというコンサートでした。
そんなショウは公式にプロ撮影されて映像作『IN THE ROUND IN YOUR FACE』となったわけですが、それもショウ全曲ではありませんでした。その後、90年代に入ってから関係者から全曲版サウンドボードが流出。公式ビデオにも負けないクオリティに加え、ライヴ全曲だけでなく当日のサウンドチェックまで収録したスーパー・サウンドボードだったのです。それでは、セットリスト整理しつつ超長尺ぶりも実感していただきましょう。

しかも、本作はそんな最長記録を更に更新。流出サウンドボードには収録されていなかった冒頭「Stagefright」のナレーションを公式ビデオから追加収録している。流出マスターは編集途中のために一部のMCにカットはありますが、それ以外は完璧。音楽的には完全なフル・ライヴアルバムが実現したのです。
