そんな現場を伝える本作は、「超」付きのオーディエンス……のハズです、たぶん。いきなり頼りなくて申し訳ないのですが、「本当にオーディエンス？」の疑念が頭を離れない。いや、実際は録音した本人が公表していますし、機材もセッティングも明かしているのですから客録で間違いない。しかし、流れ出るサウンドはまったく・全然・完全にオーディエンスと思えない。芯はゼロ距離な密着感ですし、ディテールは公式級ですし、ミックスは美しく整い、セパレート感もステレオ感も完璧。「これは客録だ客録だ客録だ……」と念じながら聴いていてもTV放送のマルチカメラ映像が頭に浮かんでくるのです。
それほどのサウンドの主原因は、もちろん録音家でしょう。本作を記録・発表したのは、現代の達人として名高い「Farve4」氏。HR/HM系も多かったりしますが、メインはジェネラル系を手掛ける名手で、当店でもFLEETWOOD MACの『BOSTON 2019（Uxbridge 1173）』やTHE EAGLESの『BOSTON 2018 1ST NIGHT（Uxbridge 872）』などが大好評。本作は、そんな名手コレクションの最新作にして、新たなる代表作となる超極上品なのです。
