It is the best live sound source of jazz giant Charles Mingus. Live at Village Vanguard, a prestigious jazz club in New York, on April 15, 1975. Remastered recording of the finest stereo audience master. To be clear, the sound quality is incomparable to a half-finished sound board. The outline of the performance is clearly audible, and the applause and cheers of the audience and the slight chat between the songs that occur after the solo of each part peculiar to the audience recording creates an extremely realistic feeling. This is unique to a small jazz club, and this is the original form of jazz and blues. Naturally, the tension of the band is in great shape in the relaxed air. It is the best item that traps the intimate and hot air that was put into Village Vanguard in 1975. George Adams, Don Pullen and his face are perfect for his ally Jackie Byard.
