Focusing on genres such as jazz and blues, which had few collector’s items at the time, the valuable titles of the BMM label, which was extremely popular with fans, are now available in the regular low-priced reissue series Necromancer.

Following the unexpected popularity of our previous label “Walking Woman”, the Carla Bley band’s collector’s CD is back again. This time, a tag team with Michael Mantler, recorded live in Berlin on November 4, 1979. It was two years ago when the official album “Carla Bley Live” was recorded. The best stereo sound board. It’s not as suspicious as the “Walking Woman” mentioned above, but it’s easier for many people to enjoy it. Carla’s talent shines in the parts such as composition, arrangement, and composition rather than piano play. Supported by a powerful ECM band, it is a good title that you can enjoy a variety of performances from songs like jazz rock to songs with a pop feel. Also recommended for getting started with Carla Bley.

当レーベル前作『ウォーキング・ウーマン』に予想以上の好評をいただいたことを受け、再びカーラブレイ・バンドのコレクターズCD登場となりました。今度もマイケル・マントラーとのタッグ、1979年11月4日ベルリンでのライヴを収録。オフィシャル・アルバム『カーラ・ブレイ・ライヴ』が収録された2年前です。音質は最高のステレオ・サウンドボード。前述の『ウォーキング・ウーマン』ほど怪しい空気はありませんが、むしろ多くの人に楽しんでいただきやすくなったと言えます。ピアノ・プレイというよりは作曲・アレンジ・構成といった部分にこそ才能が光るカーラ。ECM系強力なバンドにサポートされ、ジャズロックのような曲からポップな感じの曲まで多様な演奏が楽しめる好タイトルです。カーラブレイ入門用としてもおすすめ。
