From the Japan tour accompanying “MAGNUM OPUS” in 1995, both the Kagoshima Citizens’ Culture Hall performance on September 8th and the Kyushu Welfare Pension Hall performance on September 9th in Fukuoka are completely recorded. First of all, the Kagoshima performance recorded on Discs 1 & 2 is the finest stereo line recording released from Power Gate in the past, but this board is newly remastered from the master tape, and this sound that this fan must listen to with better sound quality You can enjoy the board recording take. The hiss noise that was already noticeable has been reduced to the extent that the original sound is not affected, and the overall sound image has been adjusted to the best condition. The Seventh Sign, which had two cuts, is also connected, and it is finished in a high quality piece that can be officially released. All the musical tones are recorded in Ultra Clear, but especially Yngwie’s guitar solo is recorded with outstanding sound, and fans are sure to be very satisfied with the series of breathtaking super fast playing. Like the previous ones, it hasn’t been paid since Black Star, but it’s definitely a must-listen for fans as an upgraded version of the definitive title that captured the first day of the tour with perfect level line recording. Discs 3 & 4 contain a must-listen take for fans who have completely recorded the next day’s Fukuoka performance from the original master who is on the market even among traders. At the beginning, the sound image is a little uncertain, and it may be partly overloaded, but the problem was improved from the middle of the opening Vengeance, and after that, you can enjoy the whole picture of the show with a clear sound with outstanding stability. Yngwie’s full-scale live performance at this time, which has punch and depth in the sound and can be heard with a profound sound image different from sound board recording, is a must-listen for all fans. Featuring the “Seventh Sign” and “Magnum Opus” numbers with Mike’s participation, the unique set of this period is wonderful and responsive. Barry Sparks’ technical bass solo and Shane Garras’ play that overwhelms the listener with powerful drumming are also great. Introducing a must-listen board for fans that captures the first two days of the 1995 Japan tour with the highest level of line recording and high-quality audience recording.
1995年「MAGNUM OPUS」に伴う日本ツアーより、初日9月8日、鹿児島市民文化ホール公演と、9月9日、福岡で行われた九州厚生年金会館公演をどちらも完全収録。まずディスク１＆２に収録された鹿児島公演は、過去にPower Gateからリリースされていた極上ステレオ・ライン録音ですが、本盤は新たにマスターテープからリマスターを行い、より素晴らしい音質でこのファン必聴のサウンドボード録音テイクを堪能することができます。既発で目立っていたヒスノイズを原音に影響が出ない程度に軽減し、全体の音像も最良の状態に整えました。２箇所カットのあったSeventh Signも繋がっており、オフィシャルリリースも可能な程のハイ・クオリティな一枚に仕上がっています。全ての楽音がウルトラクリアーに収録されていますが、特にイングヴェイのギターソロが抜群のサウンドで収録されており、息を呑む超速弾きプレイの連続にファンは大満足間違いありません。既発同様にBlack Star以降は未収ですが、完璧なレベルのライン録音でツアー初日を捉えた決定版タイトルのアップグレード版としてファンは間違いなく必聴です。ディスク３＆４には、翌日の福岡公演をトレーダー間でも一切出回っているオリジナル・マスターより完全収録したファン必聴のテイクを収録。冒頭、若干音像が定まらず、部分的にオーヴァーロード気味だったりもしますが、オープニングのVengeanceの途中から問題が改善され、以降は、安定感抜群のクリアーなサウンドでショウの全貌を堪能することができます。音にパンチと深みがあり、サウンドボード録音とはまた違った重厚な音像で聴けるこの時期のイングヴェイの充実のライブは、全てのファン必聴です。この日はI Can’t Wait の前にドラマチックなインストナンバーAmberdawn/Brothersを演奏しています。ディスク２はBlack Starで録音が終了してしまいますが、本盤は「Seventh Sign」収録のHair TriggerとアンコールラストI’ll See The Light, Tonightまで完全収録。この時期のボーカルはマイク・ヴェセーラが務めており、伸びやかで安定したボーカル・パフォーマンスを聴かせてくれます。マイクの参加した「Seventh Sign」と「Magnum Opus」ナンバーをフィーチャーした、この時期ならではのセットは素晴らしく、聴き応え満点です。バリー・スパークスのテクニカルなベースソロ、パワフルなドラミングで聴き手を圧倒するシェーン・ガーラスのプレイも最高です。1995年日本ツアー初頭の２日間を最高レベルのライン録音と高品質オーディエンス録音で捉えたファン必聴盤が登場です。
