『SEVEN』の新曲「Stick The Knife In And Twist」の他、『PULL』ナンバーが3曲も増量。

This work is the first of a series of two works. This is a superb audience recording of the “September 4, 2023: Umeda CLUB QUATTRO” performance. They are currently pushing forward with their “SEVEN Tour,” while also holding Kip Winger’s solo performance. In order to know the current situation, let’s first take a look at the overview of the ongoing activities and check the show’s position.

This is the schedule for 2023/2024 that has been announced so far. Only one performance has been scheduled for next year, but it seems like they are gradually increasing the number of performances. It was thought that he would concentrate on his band after the release of “SEVEN”, but he is planning to hold a solo performance in Berlin immediately after leaving Japan. This visit to Japan consists of “one time in Osaka and two times in Tokyo”, and this work is a full live album vacuum-packed from the first day.
This work, which conveys the first day after six years, is truly the best audience with a “super” rating. After all, the person who worked on this work was the master “Western Japan’s Strongest Taper” who is familiar to us, and the sound is “just like a sound board”. At the opening part, the lively applause spreads, so it must be the audience, but when the show starts, the transcendent performance sound and vocals are poured into the brain. Anyway, the core is extremely thick, it’s close contact with zero sense of distance, and the details are super fine… Furthermore, the metallic luster and terattera sound is also amazing. As a matter of fact, all three performances in Japan this time are of the highest quality, but if you dare to judge the best masterpiece, this work is the best. The deciding factor is the beauty of the metallic luster, and this shine is unique to this work. I believe that it is said to be an audience recording because it is a transcendent and obvious “strongest” Mr. collection, but if I had met it purely by sound, I would have only thought, “Isn’t it a leaked sound board?”
What further enhances the sound board feeling is the lack of audience noise. This work has a lot of excitement both in the opening part and between songs, and the roar that rises at the best parts such as the guitar solo is realistically absorbed. However, the breath of the audience can be felt “on the other side” of the intimate performance sound. According to the person who recorded it, he was recording from the audience seats, but the sound you hear gives you the illusion that you are standing on stage with the members.
What is depicted with such transcendent sound is a full show for Japan, which has been significantly increased in volume compared to overseas. At our store, the video work “HUNTSVILLE 2023 (Shades 1790)” just before coming to Japan has been well received, so let’s compare and organize it here.

●Classics
・Winger: Seventeen/Hungry/Time To Surrender/Headed For A Heartbreak/Madalaine
・In the Heart of the Young: Can’t Get Enuff/Miles Away/Rainbow In The Rose/Easy Come Easy Go
・Pull: Down Incognito/Junkyard Dog (Tears On Stone) (★)/Who’s The One (★)/Blind Revolution Mad (★)
●Others
・Seven: Stick The Knife In And Twist (★)/Proud Desperado
・Other: Black Magic (★)/Pull Me Under
*Note: Songs marked with “★” were not heard in the US tour video “HUNTSVILLE 2023 (Shades 1790)”.

…and it looks like this. In addition to SEVEN’s new song “Stick The Knife In And Twist,” the number of “PULL” songs has been increased by three. “Black Magic” is an unfamiliar song title, but it is a solo song by Reb Beach that was included in the 1991 compilation “GUITARS THAT RULE THE WORLD,” and it is a hard-driving instrumental song that shows off his virtuosity. .
WINGER’s latest visit to Japan has received even more praise than their new album “SEVEN.” This is a new masterpiece live album that will reign at the top. This is by far the best masterpiece in terms of sound, even in this simultaneous release packed with the finest quality. Please enjoy it to the fullest!
