Of course, “Royal Albert Hall Performance on May 22, 2023” is recorded in this work. It is a 4-disc set of audience sets with the superb recordings on DISC 1-3 and the superb view video on DISC 4. As you may know if you have noticed this article, this show has already been reported as a two-disc DVD video work “Uxbridge 1934”, but this work is a completely different recording & video set.
First of all, the main thing is a 3-disc full live album. The video work “Uxbridge 1934” in the first report was an edited work that combined different images for each song, so although the quality was high, it lacked the feeling of “full experience”. This work is a continuous recording that gives you a taste of that experience.
Of course, the sound quality is also excellent. The most wonderful thing is the glossy and elegant sound of the famous venue “Royal Albert Hall”. Mellow, fine, yet rich. Both the guitar and vocals have a velvety beauty. Of course, if it becomes blurry and boa boa due to the thickness of the ringing, there is no original or child, but there is no such worry in this work. The thick and dense core has a rushing power, and it penetrates the middle of the rich atmosphere and carries to the subtleties of the performance. Moreover, this work is carefully mastered from the net original sound. It has the illusion that the recording position has moved several rows forward by greatly improving the nuke while maintaining the delicious taste of the beautiful sound.

– DISC 1: Clapton & Bramhall II (8 songs)
– Participating guests: Derek Trucks / Susan Tedeschi / Ron Woodshaw
consists of three parts, and this work contains each part on one disc doing. DISC 1 is 8 songs by the organizer Eric Clapton. Doyle Bramhall II, who is familiar with the regular band backing, also participates fully. In this basic formation, the first four songs were played, and Derek Trucks joined them to show off four more songs. After participating in Derek, the number of guests will increase, and his wife Susan and Ron Wood will also appear.

● DISC 2: Beck Band & Guest (9 songs)

DISC 3: Clapton & Guests (9 songs)
Participating guests: Robert Randolph/Joss Stone/Gary Clark Jr./Rod Stewart/Ron Wood The
final third part is again Eric Clapton and his band is the main axis. The guests are even more gorgeous, and Gary Clark Jr. and Rod Stewart are participating in 4 songs each, in addition to the re-appearing Robert Randolph (2 songs) and Ron Wood (2 songs). The highlight is the rod. He sings Jeff’s repertoire with Clapton and Ron in the background.

This work also includes a spectacular video that allows you to witness such a gorgeous stage. In addition to the above-mentioned 2-disc set “Uxbridge 1934”, the first day video has also introduced the gift board “1ST NIGHT: SINGLE CAM EDITION”, but this work is a different video from either of them.
I have digested the show over 3 hours to about 40 minutes, but the sight is Tokuno. First of all, amazing scenery. An angle looking down from the musician’s sound chart from the balcony seat on the left side of the stage. The angle of the audience seats is also steep, so you can see the entire stage without the shadows of the people in front of you, and you can see the gorgeous members performing while exchanging eye contact. ).
With that spectacle, each song is shown for several tens of seconds. The guests are replaced each time the performance changes, so we can’t lose our focus even for a moment, and it’s a series of highlights. You can enjoy a rich 40 minutes. Recently, there is a lot of talk about “taipa (time performance),” which is not cost-effective, and some young people are fast-forwarding videos, but fast-forwarding is strictly prohibited when it comes to music. This disc is also a modern video work that pursues extreme Taipa without polluting the music by fast forwarding.

豪華共演だけでなく、滲み出す深い敬愛が胸を打つジェフ・ベック追悼公演。その初日を極上体験できるビッグ・セットが登場です。
そんな本作に記録されているのは、もちろん「2023年５月22日ロイヤル・アルバート・ホール公演」。その絶品通し録音をDISC 1-3に、絶景映像をDISC 4に配したオーディエンス・セット４枚組です。本稿に目を留められた方ならご存知と思いますが、このショウは既に２枚組DVDの映像作品『Uxbridge 1934』としてレポート済みですが、本作はまったく別の録音＆映像セットです。
まずメインとなるのは、３枚組のフルライヴ・アルバム。第一報の映像作『Uxbridge 1934』は１曲１曲で異なる映像を組合わせた編集作品だったためにクオリティは高かったものの、「通しのフル体験」感には欠けていました。本作は、その体験感を味わわせてくれる通し録音なのです。
もちろん、サウンド・クオリティも絶品。何よりも素晴らしいのは、名会場“ロイヤル・アルバート・ホール”だからこその艶やかで上品な鳴り。まろやかできめ細かく、そでいてリッチ。ギターにもヴォーカルにも、まるでビロードのような美しさを宿らせているのです。もちろん鳴りの厚みでボケボケ・ボワボワになったら元も子もありませんが、本作にその心配はない。太くて密度の高い芯に突進力があり、リッチな空気感のド真ん中を貫いて演奏の機微まで運んでくれる。しかも、本作はネット原音から細心マスタリング。美しい鳴りの旨みはそのままに、ヌケをグッと向上させたことでまるで録音ポジションが数列前方に移動したかのような錯覚まであるのです。
そして、やっぱり美味しいのがじっくりと落ち着いて味わうフル録音の統一感。ジェフ縁のミュージシャン達が次から次へと登場するカラフルなステージでも腰を落ち着けて聴き込むことができるのです。ここで、その豪華ぶりも振り返っておきましょう。

●DISC 2：ベック・バンド＆ゲスト（９曲）

第二部は生前最後のJEFF BECK GROUP（ロンダ・スミス／アニカ・ニルス／ロバート・スティーヴンソン）を基軸にしたセクション。オリヴィア・セイフ＆ロバート・ランドロフによる「Elegy For Dunkirk」でスタートし、その後ジョニー・デップ＆ビリー・ギボンズが登場。この２人を軸にしてカーク・ハメットなど、様々なスター達が入れ替わり登場します。

●DISC 3：クラプトン＆ゲスト（９曲）

最後の第三部は再びエリック・クラプトンと彼のバンドが主軸。ゲストはさらに豪華になり、再登場のロバート・ランドロフ（２曲）、ロン・ウッド（２曲）の他、ゲイリー・クラークJr.とロッド・スチュワートが４曲ずつ参加しています。ハイライトは何と言ってもロッド。クラプトンやロンをバックにジェフ縁のレパートリーを歌ってくれるのです。

本作は、そんな豪華ステージを目撃できる絶景映像もセット。初日映像は前述の２枚組『Uxbridge 1934』の他、ギフト盤『1ST NIGHT: SINGLE CAM EDITION』もご紹介してきましたが、本作はそのどちらとも異なる映像です。
３時間超えのショウを約40分にダイジェストしているのですが、その見応えは特濃。まず、スゴい絶景。ステージ左側のバルコニー席からミュージシャン音図上から見下ろすアングル。客席の角度も急なために前方客の影も入り込まずにステージ全体を見渡せ、豪華メンバーがアイコンタクトを交わしながら演奏していく姿がつぶさに見て取れます（ステージ袖で出番を待つゲストまで見えちゃいます）。
その光景のまま、１曲を数十秒ずつで見せていく。切り替わるごとにゲスト達が入れ替わっていくのですから、一瞬たりとも気が抜けず、ハイライトの連続。濃厚な40分間を味わえるのです。最近ではコスパならぬ「タイパ（タイム・パフォーマンス）」が叫ばれ、動画を早送りする若者もいますが、音楽に早送りは厳禁。このディスクは、早送りで音楽を汚すことなく極度にタイパを追究した現代的な映像作でもあるのです。
