When Michael Schenker was at the US tour in 1978, the Chicago performance on October 13 appeared with almost complete recording! It was a performance that had been released so far, but this time it is not only the record high than the audience master copy, but also the quality of the sound board, and it is fully recorded except for a slight cut in “LIGHTS OUT”. Six performances were recorded from this tour and then recorded in “STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT”, but one performance in this Chicago performance is well known to maniacs, and “STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT” is actually this performance. Because the theory that two songs that were not played in the 6 performances were recorded and recorded in the studio after joining Paul Chapman, it is a must-listen sound source for fans who captured the stage from this original tour!
マイケル・シェンカー在籍時１９７８年の全米ツアーより１０月１３日のシカゴ公演がほぼ完全収録で登場！これまでもリリースされていた公演ですが、今回オーディエンス・マスター・コピーより過去最高は勿論、サウンドボード並みのクオリティで、「LIGHTS OUT」に僅かにカットがある以外完全収録しております。このツアーから６公演がレコーディングされ後に「STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT」に収録されましたが、このシカゴ公演もその中の１公演はマニアならご存知の通りで、「STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT」は実際にはこの６公演では演奏されなかった２曲をポール・チャップマン加入後にスタジオで録音し収録したという説が有力の為、本来のこのツアーからのステージを捕らえたファン必聴の音源です！
