This is the latest live sound source of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, which has been touring since the summer of 2021. The sound source for August, which was the beginning of the tour, was released from the same label, but the organization was still small while also serving as a warm-up. The latest sound source that appeared this time has a horn section, and the trademark twin drums have also been revived. The engine of each member is also warm and full throttle. Beginning with The Beatles’ “I’ve Got a Feeling”, the second set is a series of Derek & The Dominos’ “Bell Bottom Blues” and “Love is Sad”. Full of listening places such as Derek’s 18th Coltrane’s “Afro Blue”. A more notable listening place is Neil Young’s “Helpless”. Derek’s elegant singing slide guitar is excellent for powerful Susan’s vocals. Mike Mathison, Mark Rivers, Alicia Charcoal and others also have songs featuring lead vocals, which is the culmination of the 2021 tour. Although it is an audience recording, it is a high-quality sound source that is not an exaggeration to say that it is a sound board until you hear the cheers between songs.

2021年夏からツアーを開始しているテデスキー・トラックス・バンドの最新ライヴ音源です。ツアー開始当初である8月の音源が同レーベルよりリリースされていますが、まだウォーミング・アップを兼ねた状態で編成も小規模のものでした。今回登場の最新音源ではホーン・セクションも加わり、トレード・マークでもあるツイン・ドラムも復活。各メンバーのエンジンも温まりフル・スロットル状態です。ビートルズの『アイヴ・ガッタ・フィーリング』で始まりセカンド・セットではデレク&ザ・ドミノスの『ベル・ボトム・ブルース』『恋は悲しきもの』の連単。デレクの十八番コルトレーンの『アフロ・ブルー』など聴き所満載。更に特筆すべき聴き所はなんとニール・ヤングの『ヘルプレス』。力強いスーザンのヴォーカルに、デレクの流麗な歌い上げるスライド・ギターは絶品です。マイク・マティスン、マーク・リヴァース、アリシア・チャコールらもそれぞれリード・ヴォーカルがフィーチャーされる曲もあり、まさに2021年ツアーの絶頂期です。オーディエンス録音ですが、曲間の歓声が聞こえるまではサウンドボードと言っても過言では無い高音質音源です。
