Talking Heads’ performance in Japan, which was named “the most intelligent band in the world” and “catch the 80’s”, which came from New York just before the arrival of the new era of the 80’s, caused a big whirlpool of the era. Revive on the board!

The swell of punk new wave that started in the mid-1970s rushed to the distant island country of Japan, and Talking Heads came from New York with full satisfaction. The Japanese media introduced them as “the most intelligent band in the world”, which is different from the punk rockers such as Ramones and Pistols who push through with momentum. Brian Eno was co-produced on the second album, and Robert Fripp, who had disbanded King Crimson and was searching for confidence in the following third album, also joined. Among them, the attitude of boldly searching for new musicality such as incorporating Afro beat, and the appearance on the stage of David Byrne who feels some intelligence there, may have been described as “intelligent”. .. This live sound source, which was organized by the original members at the start of Talking Heads, makes full use of the existing sound board part, and the missing part is completely complemented by super good audience recording. The audience section from 1 to 6 tracks uses a monaural audience with powerful sound pressure, and the 7th and subsequent songs are stereo sound boards with outstanding separation of instruments. The sixth song is over and the applause spreads to the left and right, and the middle and second half of the game is finished in a wonderful edit that folds up with a stereo sound source. Talking Heads’ performance in Japan, which stimulated the sensibilities of young people who were excited by the arrival of a new era at that time and entrusted themselves to the new wave of music, and the jacket was designed as a homage to the pamphlet of that time, giving the atmosphere of that time. It is a wonderful item that is also trapped. Press board. A must-have collection.
