“SAVAGE AMUSEMENT Tour” is a little-known sound source filled with the momentum of the golden age and delicious rare songs. The original master who can experience the best unexplored tour is a new excavation.
“Bloomington performance on October 2, 1988” is imbued in this work. It is the highest grade audience recording. Speaking of the two big hits of the golden age, “LOVE AT FIRST STING” and “CRAZY WORLD” will be the final blows, but “SAVAGE AMUSEMENT” in between is actually a platinum album. In terms of sales, it was comparable to “BLACKOUT”, and it was a magnificent big hit work that surpassed the charts. Of course, the world tour that received such a heyday of wind is also huge. This is the 1988/1989 SCORPIONS. In conjunction with the release of the album, he made a historic tour of Russia, and drove the momentum to the whole earth circuit. In the end, it was also a historical tour that once again occupied the “Moscow Music Peace Festival”. Of course, even though they invaded Eastern Europe, the main battlefield was the United States. The Bloomington performance of this work was the concert corresponding to the “North America” leg 62 performance.
This is a vacuum-packed version of such a show, and it’s a superlative recording that combines an extremely thick feeling with an eye-opening clarity. It is directly digitized from the original master brought from its own route, but the core is strong and there is no sense of distance. I don’t mistake it for a sound board in terms of tone, but even if I listen to it with headphones, the vocals don’t have a sense of air, and every word of the lyrics is clear/clear. The two guitars are also beautifully separated and do not mix even if they are intertwined. Although it cannot be said that it is “mistaken as a sound board”, it can serve as a “sound board substitute” sufficiently.
A full show of the precious “SAVAGE AMUSEMENT” number that is depicted with such a solid / clear superb sound is too delicious. Let’s organize the set here.

I’m dizzy with the rare “We Let It Rock … You Let It Roll” from the opening, and the limited songs “Every Minute Every Day”, “Media Overkill”, “Don’t Stop” that I haven’t played at all since this tour At The Top” is rolled out one after another. Moreover, this is very cool. The album was said to be over-produced, but the original 100% live performance has plenty of original edge and aggression. I may not have good memories due to the feud with Dieter Dirks, but I can’t believe I made such a masterpiece group a limited song ….
While overflowing with a sense of fulfillment in its heyday, the limited-edition songs for only one tour are piled up. “SAVAGE AMUSEMENT Tour”, which is not blessed with sound sources, despite being outstandingly delicious in the entire history of the Scorpion. This work is a new representative work that you can enjoy the full show with the finest sound. Masterpieces of “SAVAGE AMUSEMENT” regained their original charm by stage tension. これが1988年／1989年のSCORPIONS。アルバム発売に合わせて歴史的なロシア・ツアーを実現させ、その余勢を駆って地球を丸ごとサーキット。最後には、再び“モスクワ・ミュージック・ピース・フェスティバル”で占めるというヒストリカルなツアーでもありました。もちろん、東欧に侵攻したとは言っても主戦場はアメリカ。本作のブルーミントン公演は、その「北米」レッグ62公演目にあたるコンサートでした。
そんなショウを真空パックした本作は、極太感と目の醒めるクリアさを併せ持った極上録音。独自ルートからもたらされた大元マスターからダイレクトにデジタル化されているのですが、とにかく芯が力強く距離感がない。音色的にサウンドボードと間違えたりはしませんが、ヘッドフォンで聴き込んでもヴォーカルに空気感がなく、歌詞の一語一語までハッキリ／クッキリ。２本のギターも綺麗にセパレートしていて絡み合っても混じらない。「サウンドボードと間違える」とまでは言えないまでも、「サウンドボード代わり」は充分に務めてくれるのです。
