Prince’s unreleased albums, Camille and Crystal Ball, produced in 1986. Camille had numerous releases due to the fact that the setlist was known for quite some time and that only Rebirth Of The Flesh had unreleased songs. And one of the analog pieces made of only 100 pieces has been miraculously excavated. And the sound source from the master has been excavated in the masterpiece Crystal Ball of LP3 disc set. This time, we will correct some difficulties in those sound sources and release it again.

Camille uses an excavated analog-mastered sound source. However, obviously there was a few seconds between the four songs on side B, and I cut them to smooth the progress of the songs. The sound quality part is not the best quality due to the condition of the LP, but there are differences in the mix, so I recorded it as it is.

And although the Crystal Ball seems to have a master from acetate, the pitch wasn’t normal. The pitch was considerably faster in the first half, when the pitch was increased by about 1.002 times from the existing one, and in the second half from The Ball, so we made a correction of 0.978 times. This is also the same as the version that can be listened to officially, but all the sound sources from the master are remastered and recorded without dare to replace it.

Only Rebirth Of The Flesh and If I Was Your Girlfriend (without the intro) are the same version of Camille and Crystal Ball, but both are listed because there may be differences in the mix of each master.

86年制作のプリンスの未発表アルバム、CamilleとCrystal Ball。Camilleはかなり前からセットリストが判明しているのと、Rebirth Of The Fleshしか未発表曲がないため、数多のリリースがありました。そして100枚だけ作られたアナログの一枚も奇跡的に発掘されています。そしてLP3枚組の大作Crystal Ballもマスターからの音源が発掘されています。今回それらの音源にあった幾つかの難を補正して改めてリリースいたします。

Camilleは発掘されたアナログをマスターにした音源を使用しています。ただ明らかにB面の4曲の曲間が数秒開いていて、これらをカットして曲の進行を滑らかにしました。音質部分はLPのコンディションの関係でベスト・クオリティーとまではいきませんが、ミックスの違いもあるのでそのままで収録しました。

そしてCrystal Ballはマスターがアセテートからのようですが、実はピッチが正常ではありませんでした。今回既存のものよりピッチを1.002倍前後上げた前半、そしてThe Ballからの後半はピッチがかなり速かったので、0.978倍の補正を施しています。これもオフィシャルで聴けるバージョンと一緒のものがありますが、あえて差し替えたりせずマスターからの音源全てをリマスターして収録しています。

*Sign O’ The Times Super Deluxe Edition Outtakesシリーズに入るこのタイトル、曲名の後に日付、スタジオ名があるものは、そこでのみ聴けるものです。Rebirth Of The FleshとIf I Was Your Girlfriend（イントロがない）だけはCamilleとCrystal Ball同じバージョンですが、それぞれのマスターのミックスに違いがあるかもしれないので、一応両方共表記してあります。
