The reason may have been the sound image “2nd gen” that was received from the notation. That’s because all of these sources are known as the same 2nd gen source, and no high-end sources with a Shine On image, such as stereo SBDs or reel-to-reel, came out. It’s a pretty interesting sound source when you actually listen to the contents, but if you’ve been shunned only by such notational images, it’s a wasteful story.
It was September of this year that this disgraceful source was spotlighted again. In the harsh summer shine, a very high quality 2nd gen tape was suddenly released on the net, and fans who heard the sound while muttering “Is it 2nd gen again” were burned with its powerful burning sound one after another. I burned it. According to familiar Neonnight, who is also an uploader, this 2nd gen is housed in two Maxell XLII 90 tapes, a basic remaster of hiss noise reduction and hum removal to a source digitally transferred directly from the tape. It was a big boost to the previous 2nd gen sound. However, when I calmly scrutinized it, some pitch deviations remained, and the sound omission was about the same as the existing board, so this time Sigma’s talented engineer practiced remastering to correct it as appropriate. By correcting the slightly swaying phase shift upright and immovable, and adjusting the waveform in detail, the best sound with the texture and listening comfort of the sound that goes over the public source is realized, and this is achieved with a set of 2 press boards. This latest work is a phonograph!
Since the already-released board to be compared is available from our shop, it is compared with the above-mentioned gift title “UNIVERSITY OF ESSEX 1971 (* Hereafter referred to as” already-released board “)”, but its listening comfort and sound feel are already It’s another dimension. For example, “Atom Heart Mother” starts with Roger’s familiar shout “Okay, Here We Go”, but you should soon notice that the brightness of that voice is about +2 higher than the existing version.
