Nena made her shocking debut in 1983 with “Rock Balloon wa 99.” Introducing the best pro shot that dazzles the 22-year-old’s innocent appearance.
This work includes six professional shots of her TV appearances that were broadcast in 1983, immediately after her debut. This is a two-disc set that mainly features two long-form programs, “March 2, 1983 “ROCKPALAST”” and “May 14, “ROCKPOP IN CONCERT”, with an additional bonus of four spot appearances. Nena began her music career in 1978 as the singer of THE STRIPES, but the group disbanded in 1981. She re-debuted in 1982 with her new band NENA. This is also a good opportunity, so let’s take a look at the whole scene of his activities during his debut era and check the position of this work.

This is the schedule for 1982/1983. It is difficult to say whether the records at that time are perfect or not, so please use them as a reference only. In any case, it wasn’t until 1984 that the single “Rock Balloon wa 99” became a hit in the UK, the US, and Japan, and at this point they had not yet traveled to the UK. It was all about local activities around Germany. This work was an appearance on a German program at that time, and “ROCKPALAST (DISC 1)” was the first performance of “West Germany #3” and “ROCKPOP IN CONCERT (DISC 2)” was the first performance of “West Germany #4”.
If you have paid attention to this article, you probably know that “ROCKPALAST” and “ROCKPOP IN CONCERT” are long-established music programs. Even though MTV-style PV programs are all the rage, they are particular about their unique live performance stages, and have left behind treasured videos of numerous bands/artists.
