This week’s release will be a total of four, but this is the fourth installment. This is a multi -camera professional shot that fully recorded “May 5, 2022 Porto Allegre performance”. The two “Buenos Aires 2022 Live WebCast (Shades 1517)” and “Santiago 2022 (Shades 1522)” have already been very popular, and this week, “Curitiba 2022 (Shades 1529)” was released at the same time. This is Metallica in 2022, which has been published so far. The tour was resumed from South America in April -May, but a full -professional shot was fired after the first night Santiago performance. It has been released for four consecutive performances, and this is the third performance of Porto Allegre. I don’t know what will happen to the remaining two South American performances (Sao Paulo / Velorizonte), but maybe six South American performances will be completed …
And it’s not just a series of fires. The quality of each one is completely official. The latest professional shot of Metallica, the largest monster in the scene, is always “super”, but that is realized in each performance. You can understand a special event like last year’s 40th anniversary concert, but despite the regular performance of the tour, it will continue to be born without one performance. … And this looks like this. On this day, “KILL ‘EM All” and “… and Justice for All” are thicker, and it is a metallic day. The “No Remorse” for the first time in four years is also delicious, and there is no sense of weight that steel repertoire such as “Harvester of Sorrow” and “Blackened” is going out one after another. More importantly, there is no tall song. Although there are heavy mids, all of them are the numbers of the era when the crunch was working, and the only “Reload” select is “FUEL”. It is the most refreshing and aggressive show in this four consecutive work.

I don’t know if this will grow up to six consecutive shots, but in that collection, this work is a song selection of “First!” Metallica, a monster band, is still expanding the potential of entertainment, even after 40 years. これが現在までに公表されている2022年のMETALLICA。４月ー５月の南米からツアー再開となったわけですが、その第一夜サンティアゴ公演を皮切りにフル・プロショットが連発。４公演連続で公開されており、本作のポルト・アレグレ公演は３公演目にあたります。残る南米２公演（サンパウロ／ベロオリゾンテ）がどうなるかは分かりませんが、もしかしたら南米６公演がコンプリートされるのかも……そんなことまで囁かれているのです。
しかも、単に連発しているだけではない。１本１本のクオリティが完全オフィシャル級。シーン最大級のモンスターであるMETALLICAの最新プロショットは常に「超」付きの極上ですが、それが毎公演で実現している。昨年の40周年コンサートのように特別イベントなら分かりますが、ツアーの通常公演にも関わらず１公演のスキもなく生まれ続けているとは……。現在のプロショット量産状態がいかに異常事態なのか、ご理解頂けるのではないでしょうか。

……と、このようになっています。この日は『KILL ‘EM ALL』『…AND JUSTICE FOR ALL』が厚めという、言うなればメタリック・デイ。４年ぶりとなる「No Remorse」も美味しいですし、「Harvester Of Sorrow」「Blackened」といった鋼のレパートリーが次々繰り出される重量感が溜まらない。それ以上に重要なのは、タルい曲が全然ない事。ヘヴィなミッドはありますが、それらもことごとくクランチの効いていた時代のナンバーですし、唯一の『RELOAD』セレクトも快走「Fuel」。今回の４連作の中でも最も爽快でアグレッシヴなショウでもあるのです。
とにかく驚きの南米プロショット４連発。これが６連発まで伸びるかはまだ分かりませんが、そのコレクションの中でも本作は選曲的に美味しい「まずは！」の一作です。結成40年を経た今もなお、エンターテインメントの可能性を拡大し続けている怪物バンドMETALLICA。その真骨頂、ぜひ完全オフィシャル級プロショットの本作で存分にご堪能ください。
