ルー・リードとメタリカの共演ライヴがプロ・ショット映像にて収録されたアイテムです。メタリカとルー・リードといったコンピネーションが話題を呼んだアルバム『LULU』がリリースされ、そのプロモーションも兼ねて出演した『ロックパラスト』でのライヴ映像で、現在見ても画質音質共に充分満足いただけるクオリティです。元々ギターを使ってのノイズ・メイクには定評のあるルー・リードと、ヘヴィー・メタルで激しいサウンドが売りのメタリカはなかなかの好相性。ルーの独特なヴォーカルは良くも悪くも際立っていますが、アンコールの『ホワイト・ライト・ホワイト・ヒート』など名演が楽しめます。
