It is a new sound source of Led Zeppelin excavated at the end of 2021. The “almost” whole picture of the performance on September 1, 1971, which has never been on the market, is now available for the first time. The sound quality is a bit harsh for beginners to listen to in the audience recording, but it is familiar to those who have been listening to Led Zeppelin’s collector’s sound source. It has been remastered as much as possible to dig up the outline of the performance and edited to make it as easy to hear as possible. This master originally had some missing parts, and there are versions that have been corrected by collectors, but the items on this label have their own modifications using the original master, which is different from the one by collectors. It is a finish that draws. Most of “Organ Solo” and “THANK YOU” were missing, so I supplemented them with a soundboard source that was only partially present. This additional repair and editing by collectors are on the market, but it is a high quality editing unique to the label. In “DAZED AND CONFUSED” and “STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN”, there is a sound fluctuation like a missing sound every few seconds, but this may worsen, so I leave it as it is. As mentioned above, there are many difficulties, but it must be a must-have item for Zepp fans who modified and packaged the precious first appearance sound source just before coming to Japan in 1971, the peak of Zeppelin’s live performance. The jacket is designed as a homage to the concert poster of the day. First-time limited obi specification.
2021年末に発掘されたレッド・ツェッペリンの新音源です。今まで一度も出回ったことの無かった1971年9月1日の公演の“ほぼ”全貌が初登場。オーディエンス収録で初心者の方が聴くには少々キビシイ音質ですが、レッド・ツェッペリンのコレクターズ音源を聴き続けてきた歴戦の強者なら慣れたもの。可能な限りリマスタリングで演奏の輪郭を掘り起こし、少しでも聴きやすくなるよう編集されています。このマスターには元々数箇所に欠落部分があり、それをコレクターが修正したバージョンも出回っていますが、当レーベルのアイテムはオリジナルのマスターを用い独自の修正を施しており、コレクターによるものとは一線を画す仕上がりとなっています。『Organ Solo』と『THANK YOU』はほとんどが欠落していたため、一部のみ存在していたサウンドボード・ソースで補ってあります。この追加補修もコレクターによる編集モノも出回っていますが、それとは違うレーベル独自のクオリティの高い編集となっています。尚、『DAZED AND CONFUSED』と『STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN』では数秒ごとに欠落のような音の揺らぎがありますが、これは悪化する可能性があるためそのまま残しています。ここまで記載した通り難点も多々ありますが、ツェッペリンのライヴ演奏絶頂期1971年、来日直前の貴重な初登場音源を可能な限り修正しパッケージングしたゼップ・ファン必携アイテムであることに違いありません。ジャケットは当日のコンサート・ポスターをオマージュしたデザインとなっています。初回限定帯付仕様。
